Said this before, but people who have regimented time around improving themselves physically or keeping themselves in shape understand the progression in other aspects of life. It teaches you, sometimes unconsciously, a way of delayed gratification. You don't just walk in the gym and bench 315 your first day, you don't just become a marathoner in a month, you pursue these things because they can improve your health and longevity as well as mindset. Whether or not your thinking about it you are in a process of delayed gratification, which is necessary for any long term pursuit.
@cuauhtemocmorisco34935 жыл бұрын
I always thought everything was pre-destined to happen even if you never thought of doing something or getting something done. I mean you dont have to reward yourself but just doing your best makes all the difference in the world. Its true time changes you one way or another and nobody sees it coming except for those that are either depressed or lazy not too care about anything.
@RU4REALDAWG5 жыл бұрын
Very true, it also teaches you that just because you put in 100% doesn't mean it will work, but it also doesn't mean that you have to give up.
@RU4REALDAWG5 жыл бұрын
@@cuauhtemocmorisco3493 Life is hard, just remember that there is and always will be more light in your life than darkness :) and that every painful experience is just setting you up for getting something better in the future as long as you don't give up.
@RU4REALDAWG5 жыл бұрын
@Danny Knapp Working out is one of the best lessons you can follow as a person, it trains you, it will take time and repetition and planning and changes and patience, the human mind is set up in a way that when we complete hard and time taxing tasks we feel good :) it gets very hard but not giving up will give you a feeling of accomplishment that never goes away provided you keep working out. It's not easy, that's why not everyone is jacked, but it's not 100% about being jacked, it's also about the work ethic it gives you and how good it makes you feel that you did something that was hard but didn't give up, you can do it :) you'll feel better for it even if you hate lifting. And in case you do here's a favorite quote of mine to help you out and that I try to live by "Just remember if ever you feel weighed down by the bureaucracy and often mundanity of modern life, Don't fight the frustration, Let it be the catalyst, For whimsy" so basically no matter how hard the situation may be that you find yourself in, there is always a way you can make a game out of it :)

Joe Rogan is the best role model for a person like me; I've been through so much shit to the point to were ending it sounded like the most reasonable thing to me, sometimes it still does. What you've taught me is that you can certainly give up on the frustration of things, but giving up never gives you satisfaction. I look up to you thinking, "I could never become him", but yet you continuously remind me to just challenge myself to improve myself. It's a lot harder to be the kind of person you are with the physical state of my body, I have had asthmatic problems ever since I was a baby. Most times I think that it holds me back from my true potential. I'm a big guy, if I did cardio everyday and really worked on my body I could be in good shape, but having this shit just makes me want to not even try. Having Asthma makes my chest hurt so bad when I run. I get that horrible taste of blood in my mouth, but im not actually bleeding anywhere. It gets to the point to were I have to take long breaks in order to recover. The most important thing that I've learned from you, Is to self evaluate. I need to learn how my body works for me, that's one thing I couldn't be more grateful for from you Joe, even if it means pushing myself to the limit.

The most underrated skill taught by math is logical thinking. Anyone who considers their self a strategist or a planner should consider math skill an asset just like an engineer or a scientist considers math skill an asset. You get all of this practice getting these "a-ha" moments solving problems you thought were impossible, because you just didn't think about putting the pieces together in a certain way. You get all of these problems with information that looks incomplete, and the solution entails realizing how the information set actually is complete. Routinely failing to realize we have enough info to solve a problem has to be one of the top 3 shortcomings of any professional.

The school system is engineered to fit certain groups of children into certain aspects of society. You basically have total strangers determining what you will believe to be true as it relates to the world around you for the rest of your life.
