The one thing people underestimate about Rogan, is the extent to which hes willing to openly share the details of his life that help him succeed. The difference between a good man and a great man, is that the great man will go the extra mile to pull you along and try to make you great as well, whereas the good man will merely be good.

Seen Joe work out. Pretty impressive. With all his fights and workouts and years, surprising that there aren't any injuries that hinder him and that it seems as though he has no injuries at all, especially to be able to work out with that intensity. I acquired some injuries, I can still do lots of stuff and I still have strength, but cant do everything at that intensity. Good video here!

The only thing I roll my eyes at is the assumption that product acquisition is the first or even a necessary step. "I have a sensory deprivation tank." Really. And how much of that is a substitute for the discipline to consistently sit in a quiet place and concentrate? "I should get Onnit maces!" Or get a sledgehammer. Hell, swing a heavy stick around. "I need a set of dumbbells." You could move cinder blocks from one place to another every day for an hour and see results.

it seems like he does these things just because he did research on them... he doesn't actually seem like a peaceful person.. definitely seems like a cool guy but at the same time easily offended and and also pretty defensive
@blademaster95755 жыл бұрын
You seem to have put some thought into this comment so i am going to assume you just worded it poorly. You said he does this stuff because he did research on it like that is not the logical thing to do. Generally speaking, an inteligent individual seeks to do well in life and BE well so they seek out knowledge and wisdom on how to do this. This is called research. Once the research is obtained, the next step is to actually ACT on it which is the difference between Joe and most normal people. Too many normal people hear all this and ignore it. They make excuses and believe themselves to be victims of unfair circumstances. The main difference between winners and losers is that winners choose to take action. Joe is far from perfect but he is a winner and losers love to hate him (the same losers who are going to see this comment and say that i have no life and am a joe dickrider). I am not necessarily including you with these losers, but your critique of him made no sense. He wasn't being defensive, he was trying to nicely pursuade this guy to take care of himself for his own good when it was clear that Judd was just talking and not going to take any action (like most people). To anyone who sees this, TAKE ACTION!

All the things Joe mentioned are great for people who want to be in shape, but its like addiction in this context, you cant help someone who doesnt want to help themselves.

You can do everything that Joe does, only at a lower level, that's all. It's not " Rocket science ". He's not a Mr. Olympia, nor does he look like one. He's a regular mo, working out. It's like a beginner working out. You start them doing all major movements only at a lower weight as well as rep & set counts. I like Joe's podcast, but you have a square body. If I were you, I wouldn't mimic his workout regiment, but that's just me.
