We don’t hear about all the threats but it’s been several dozen real threats to him and his family. I’ve no doubt he’s come out of pocket for his team and only talks well of SS agents. I was a Trooper for 22 years. We used to practice Unholstering & Holstering our sidearm at the Range, & at Roll Call, so even under stress, the holstering & reholstering even in the dark those motions were second nature to us. Obviously, the U.S. S.S. needs to update its training techniques

As a woman I believe there is a place for women in the Secret Service. When canvassing an area there are things a woman may notice as "off" that a man may not, women should have females on their detail to go places men should not be, there are also many jobs that the ss does that are not as public as protection detail (analysts, pursuing financial crimes, etc),but acting as a body cover for a man over 6' tall should require an agent that is not less than 4" shorter than their principal....and that should be common sense.
