+fiachra dillon: You make a good point. Most of Joe's guests are almost in a "verbal sparring session"...constantly interrupting one another and more interested in getting their point across and proving they've got a quick response to anything the other person says. Conversely, CT introspectively listens and responds when Joe pauses. He's not interested in getting into a verbal one-upping competition and that's cool and refreshing tbh.
@fiachradillon
@fiachradillon 7 жыл бұрын
tizodd6 exactly, even when they debated each other over muscle mass vs fatigue. Both made excellent points but didn't try to 1up each other. CT always said "this is what I believe" instead of forcing his opinion like other guests. He comes across a very humble gentleman and you could see Joe had a lot of respect for that. Hopefully other guests will follow suit.

Those videos are huge. "All the way, all the way...from the top to rock bottom, fuckin' rock bottom!" It has kept me in the fight. C.T. I am pharmacist and was type, strong willed, no challenge to big and working my ass off to do 1 amateur physique show, I was hit by drunk driver who ran a red light at 45 mph that caused brain damage and changed who I am fundamentally....psychologically I was lost...gone...no clue who I use to be, but your videos give me hope to keep going and continue helping those I have. Thank you C.T. and Joe.

1:01:30 -1:02:11 GOD I cannot AGREE with Joe ROGAN ANYMORE on that particular subject. I am all for people posting inspirational/motivational workout things or videos of "4am Workout staying Hungry, staying ready, better than yesterday, I'm super just saiyan" and the first few times I'm like yea woo but if its ALLLL they post I'm like dude theres more to you than just being a fitness meme, As CT said you may love Cake but then putting it in the FACE EVERY SINGLE DAY that makes you start to hate Cake. At that point it takes me from being inspired and motivated to seeing that person as a Fit MR Meeseeks "HEY LOOK AT ME" and thats where I gotta dip lol

I never heard of CT Fletcher before this podcast. I've listened to Joe for a while now, easily listened to over 350 episodes and have gathered so much information about health, well being, mentality and working out. I've always wanted to get healthy and train in MMA, being a huge fan of the sport. 26 years old and haven't exercised in almost 6 years, I feel super inspired and motivated because of what Fletcher has been through. Thank you Joe for providing a platform for people who are struggling with their lives. Time to do finally do this and change myself for the better.

THE best comments by Joe at 40:00 and on about how inspiring. "How many people were not going to but did because..." Everyone does not have that power. The charisma to inspire and when you see it, feel it, or are able to help someone by possessing it...it is SO beautiful. Nothing is more satisfying than to see someone who wasn't turned into someone who DID because you were able to inspire them.

Beautiful! I literally love your work. CTs story about his dad choked me up. I can relate. Fuck cable and the news. Jre and Netflix is were it's at. I listen to your podcast every time it's on. Don't miss a show. Keep it up Joe! Thank you sincerely.

Greg Valenitno needs to be on this podcast. The most talkative, and honest bodybuilder in the game, by far, and would have a million stories to tell. Also a really cool guy, and nothing like you'd expect him to be.
