+fiachra dillon: You make a good point. Most of Joe's guests are almost in a "verbal sparring session"...constantly interrupting one another and more interested in getting their point across and proving they've got a quick response to anything the other person says. Conversely, CT introspectively listens and responds when Joe pauses. He's not interested in getting into a verbal one-upping competition and that's cool and refreshing tbh.
@fiachradillon7 жыл бұрын
tizodd6 exactly, even when they debated each other over muscle mass vs fatigue. Both made excellent points but didn't try to 1up each other. CT always said "this is what I believe" instead of forcing his opinion like other guests. He comes across a very humble gentleman and you could see Joe had a lot of respect for that. Hopefully other guests will follow suit.

I've listened to Joe for a while now, easily listened to over 350 episodes and have gathered so much information about health, well being, mentality and working out. I've always wanted to get healthy and train in MMA, being a huge fan of the sport. 26 years old and haven't exercised in almost 6 years, I feel super inspired and motivated because of what Fletcher has been through. THE best comments by Joe at 40:00 and on about how inspiring. "How many people were not going to but did because..." Everyone does not have that power. The charisma to inspire and when you see it, feel it, or are able to help someone by possessing it...it is SO beautiful. Nothing is more satisfying than to see someone who wasn't turned into someone who DID because you were able to inspire them.
