I am so glad this episode finally happened. JJ is a hardcore legend and great guy. I wrote him a long letter - cheesy, I know - about the struggles I went through as a child, becoming an alcoholic, and just being spiritually and psychologically broken. He wrote back to me with tenfold the content that I wrote to him. Very nice, humble man that people can really try to emulate.

The dude acts like he is holier than thou. And thinks prisoners shouldnt be locked in cages? He wants us to think about how we treat prisoners? How about we think of the families that were ruined because of these criminals
@boo-urns36426 жыл бұрын
I get how you'd say that but I think you're missing the point a bit, if society doesn't take real responsibility for rehabilitating prisoners properly then once released they're much more likely to go back to crime, they're not equipped with the skills to make better choices, so it becomes a self-perpetuating cycle. This is everyone's problem, the victims of course, our communities, anyone that pays tax.. locking people up doesn't solve the deeper problems of why people commit crimes in the first place, it just creates more complicated ones. And then to top it off, the prisons are privately owned!? So therefore require people to commit crimes so they can make money! Totally crazy.

@roundearthshill2486 жыл бұрын
He derailed it because he thought it was bullshit. It's not bullshit but it's not the grand conspiracy John probably thinks it is. It's not like they purposely infected a shit load of people with AIDs. It's just the medicine was made from the donors of over 10,000 people and it was made before there was a screen test available for AIDs.
@rainierr93566 жыл бұрын
Round Earth Shill yes. Also there was no political will by the govt to enact policy or desire by the blood industry to screen individuals with risky behavior because that was seen as politically incorrect and expensive. Blood industry was making bank and politicians didn't want to be associated w gays or IV drug abusers . Risking people's lives was easier. I'm a pastor and I love listening to John Joseph. One of the realest dudes ever.
@Tormentality5 жыл бұрын
Ya, cause the bible is misogynistic animal abusing myths, and as a pastor you feel like a fake fuck, because you are. You have to be. Just caught in the cycle of sin (jerkin off) = repent = sin again (jerkin off again) = repent, repeat.

Yo the Cro-Mags are an amazing band; John Joseph is an extremely deep, crazy, wild, beautiful human being. If you don’t know him or the band he was in, just keep moving. Theres no reason to be talking shit.

I am not as familiar with Cro-Mags, but when i was a kid and going to punk/metal shows I found the posi punk band h2o and their album 1995. This album really changed my life, and PMA is one of the biggest messages on it. Such a great mentality to come out of an often tough and unforgiving environment. Stay posi friends!!

basically he's a fearmonger ... who switches it up once in a while so he can also bring his point across to normies. He did recently switch from ALL ISLAM IS POISON to SOME ISLAM IS POISON and he does try to come off as a more tolerant person after he actually met muslims in prison. But the Tommy Robinson that his fanbase like is just the guy who yells out "the mass raping off women and children by the muslims (refugees)" and not the "some of these people are bad and we should collectively process this information in a healthy way" guy.
