The problem with voting Trump out of office is that means voting the Democrats in office, and they've proven they're far, far worse than Trump.
@maykolllopez15854 жыл бұрын
It's been proven time and time again that the people do better under a left leaning government. It's the red states that are the poorest, uneducated states. Every time a Republican leaves office, the economy is decimated and we are waging a new war. Is Biden better? Hell no! But in the end I'm looking out for number one my man. Id rather some sort of progress, rather than backtracking or remaining stagnant as we have under a Trump administration. Obama still a bitch though.
@mech0p4 жыл бұрын
@@maykolllopez1585 remind me how well the top democratic cities in America are doing right now? Oh yea theyre doing shitty so why do I find your claim unlikely. Baltimore, Portland, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and many other major areas are literal shit bro. I mean the top 20 most violent cities are democrat ran "outside of 2 that are non partisan" and thats not a coincidence. As for remaining stagnaant under Trump in his words WRONG. Our economy was booming, jobs were growing, people were making more money, unemployment wes lowering, homelessness was lowering, and the list goes on. Trump did more in 4 years than obama did in his entire political career. As for the economy it was done by something that was out of anyones control and we werent prepared. Its also hard to blame Trump when hes been a politician for just going on 4 years when others have been ther 40 - 50

@mannycortez11815 жыл бұрын
@@carwashsoap He sounded uncharacteristically silly talking about sex/gender and a bit delusional about Trump. He said he's been getting daily death threats on his family recently. My guess is he's been shaken by the escalation of media-sanctioned political violence and wants to distance himself from the right a little. I'm just a bystander and even I've been disturbed by the reactions to the Covington Catholic incident and Andy Ngo's beating. I'd be scared too if I was Eric.
@swordarmstudios60525 жыл бұрын
@@carwashsoap Transgender people are some of the most poorly treated people on earth. You can oppose looney left wing politics, without deciding that trans need to just shut up and suck up the fact that they have insane suicide rates because people are shitting on them constantly. IT's called having a balanced opinion. The very reason that left-wing people, who are turned off by anti-fa craziness, can't be reasonable is because they don't want to give assholes who think oppression doesn't exist a runway. This illustrates the very problem that Eric was trying to deal with - how to manage extremes without going to organized crime unit to take a shit on their organized crime unit. It's a hard problem. But it's made even harder when you can't think through his arguments, and if you knew anything about Eric, or first principles thinking, you wouldn't be surprised. Thinking doesn't mean picking teams. It means picking winning ideas.

If Trump was such an existential threat with the nuclear codes as Eric says, wouldn't we be in multiple wars right now and escalating tensions? In reality the exact opposite is happening. Trump has had numerous opportunities to do the worst and has not jumped that line once. Iran "supposedly" shot down a drone, his neocon advisers wanted a war, Trump's better judgment didn't leap at that opportunity. I don't understand Eric's logic here.

I disagree with half of Eric Weinstein’s ideas (and stridently agree with the other half). But may his ideas, thoughts, and mind never be silenced.
@rade18095 жыл бұрын
I personally disagree with his intersex argument. Well, he didn't actually present any argument except that we have to "take care" of intersex people because he has an intersex friend he likes, who feels alienated by the dichotomy because of their genotype and phenotype not aligning. That doesn't mean there's anything more than male or female, that just means there are males and females whose phenotypes don't match their genotypes. They are still genetically male or female (hence GENOtype), and therefore within the binary. Them having a disorder, does not put them somehow outside of it. Them personally identifying as something doesn't mean anything either.

Good questions. Some do, and that's of itself a really crazy topic to look at. Timing. Finnish comedians are dry as all fuck, so the delivery and timing needs to be razor. Right on the money. Some comedians can pull a laugh out of presence, manner and simply being their character. Finns cut to the heart of it, brutally, honestly and almost to the point where the laughter isn't cued, know what I mean? Finnish comedy is difficult to reflow in English. Eric is hella genius and I respect his intelligence, creativity and humanity... but he's also got a raging case of TDS. He's practically foaming at the mouth about a republican-led bill for national park condo developments which never happened (and were never going to happen) because most people on both sides of the aisle knew it was a bad idea. I might just bring up the fact that the group of men in white sheets were created by the opposite political party, and served as its henchmen to oppress brown people for decades. Even Bill Clinton admitted you couldn't be a member of the party whose color is blue without supporting the men in sheets. Yes, both situations were not good, but the latter was much worse by an order of magnitude. Eric's brain short circuits whenever his thoughts turn to Trump, which is truly sad but proves how human this man of true. intellectual power is. There's no justification for his apparent hysteria about Trump and nukes. I feel. like he's still in 2016-mode. Meanwhile, everyone else has realized Trump's not the button-obsessed maniac people thought he was--but Eric just might be.
