I know Joe won’t read this: My background. I am a spectre gunship veteran. I flew on the AC130H for just under a decade with a lot of e.k.i.a.’s under my belt. I have trauma from past events I’ve experienced and more. I am about 52-53 mins into this interview. Joe is talking about trauma and losing fear and doing what you like to do because you like it. I recently decided to become a content creator for Tom Clancy video games and have already been featured in Forbes Magazine and gained over 20k on YT so far. I completely agree with what you’ve said. I feel that I have witnessed and done so much stuff that I have had this switch go off. I most definitely have a don’t give a F mentality towards certain things in life and I believe I have the perfect amount of ptsd. I am able to make videos and enjoy making videos and I have this amount of no F’s that I am able to ignore the people that tell me YT will never work out. I constantly hear, “why do you waste your time with that?” And I 100% agree with you. It’s because I enjoy it. I don’t care if it fails. I don’t care if it takes off. I enjoy making the content and I enjoy the interactions with people from all over the world. I would love to one day be successful enough to talk to you. I have so many gunship stories and experiences that would blow your mind. Thank you for being you. This motivates me to continue to be me. Thank you.

Keep it up, man. So much of dealing with trauma and pain seems to be finding something you're passionate about and pouring yourself into it. I'll check out your content. I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Tom Clancy. I also appreciate any (military-related) fiction written by vets. I find it lends crucial realism. Unless you really know your stuff, it's clear when something was written by a civilian. P.S. I use to watch AC130's (and other craft) at the Willowgrove airshow when I was a wee lad.
