DevilsAdvocate Radio He was funny for the 10 mins total, that he spoke. I forgot he was in studio with them during this fight companion haha. He didn't know much about mma, got berated for being a wwe fan, and when he did crack jokes Joe belittled him for it.

utrecht030er google the theory of multiple intelligences and you'll understand. It takes wicked intelligence to fight at his level the same way it does to play top level chess.
@BType13X2
@BType13X2 9 жыл бұрын
kyle christ There is no way this is going to come off in the right manner. Brendan is not a top level fighter, to say it takes wicked intelligence to fight at his level is to do a disservice to all the other fighters deserving of being called maestro's or geniuses. He will forever be a gatekeeper and maybe not even that. His intelligence as a fighter is average at best, as is his intelligence as a human being. And being average is in no means a bad thing; I just have no idea why you are choosing to elevate him beyond his true station. His ground game is average, wrestling average, JJ average, Takedowns average, his boxing average, kickboxing average, Actually lets just call it what it is, he is completely average everywhere. His fight intelligence is average, he sounds no smarter then a friend of mine who fights at 145 and is 6-4 right now. I enjoy watching fights with him, because he can point out what their trying to do in the octagon, but when I see him actually fight, he is Average. The difference between my buddy and Brendan? It that after 6 years and multiple trips to Thailand, and Brazil for training, he has realized that he is done. The best thing to ever happen to Brendan was the podcast where Joe laid some brutal honesty onto him. To be clear about one more thing, I do not care one way or another about him. I don't wish him ill will, I don't want him to be hurt, I don't necessarily think its time for him to hang them up. But I also don't like it when someone tries to make the guy into more then he actually is. Brendan likely analyzes his fights after their over, he will be able to say, "This is what I did wrong." A fighter who posses "wicked intelligence" as you put it, is a fighter who is acutely aware of those things during the fight. Is aware of what their opponent is doing, and automatically adjusts to counter those things. That's fight intelligence, and Brendan doesn't have that. Sorry.

So let me get this straight... Cain Velasquez is always touted for his "Unbelievable Cardio".. And yet he was the only fighter on the entire Mexico City card to completely gas out in under two rounds? .... I mean it wouldnt have anything to do with the fact that during his 2 year layoff the UFC cracked down hard on PED's and is now testing fighters in and out of camp.. Welcome to post PED's Cain Velasquez... He will never wear that belt again... Fucking guy only fought TWO PEOPLE After he won the belt from Brock FIVE YEARS AGO..."Baddest Man on the Planet" my ASS... Werdum put a striking clinic on him and he walked into that submission because he knew he was getting KTFO if it went three more minutes on the feet.

Did you not watch the fights , or just heard about it ? every other fighter on the card was gassing out not to mention two LIGHTWEIGHTS melendez and Alvarez were gassing out in the 2nd round
@rainmechanic
@rainmechanic 9 жыл бұрын
None of the other fighters were stumbing around the ring after the first five minutes inside the cage... Only Cain... Alvarez went all three rounds and won his fight after losing round one Badly to Melendez.. Rosa vs Rodriguez when hard all three rounds.. Neither fighter gassed.... Mark my words.. Brown Pride is finished as a Champion in the heavyweight division... Without the Gear he's a shell of his former self... TRT and PED's were still rampant and allowed when Cain last fought in early 2013... He's under the new testing procedures and what you saw last Saturday was what that Mexican Bum fights like off the Juice.... Say goodbye to your paper champion.

Strype13 What kind of question is that? Rogan might be closer to douchebag but certainly isn't a meathead.

I think the UFC should create a nation wide MMA gym/training facility for all martial arts and other exercise that's beneficial. And all the employees should be retired UFC fighters. Like they fight for however long they fight and retire with a guaranteed good paying job with benefits working for the same company doing what they love. Do you agree? Modifications?

Brendan needs to say NOTHING about BJJ until he redeems himself for that horrible match with Cyborg. I mean he can't even call that a grappling match, he disengaged the entire time.
