People let akademics, a person who knows nothing about black american culture say Freddie is wack. Freddie Gibbs one of the realest rapper I’ve ever listened too and I’m pushing 40

He was my first rap show in 2011 in denver at the bluebird there was probably 30 people there and same with tame impala. Both of them within the same 3 months and they weee nobodies it’s crazy to see the growth

Isn't he a black American? He must no at least something about black American culture, he is part of it.

@@mrmr-qx4jqwho’s better? The only rappers I’d have above Freddie full stop are Lupe, Nas, Jay, Kendrick, Andre 3k, MF DOOM, Black Thought, Wayne, Eminem, Biggie and Mos Def. Pusha T and Freddie are about the same level of great and I wouldn’t define any of the other guys as purely gangster rap
@dretheman12320 күн бұрын
@@barry4649 I love Pusha but he is not on Freddie’s level. Freddie is a lot more versatile as an artist when it comes to subject matter, flows, melody, beat picking etc etc. Pusha is a beast but he’s pretty one dimensional artist, he’s elite at one thing which is coke rap….
@barry464919 күн бұрын
@@dretheman123 I’d have Freddie ahead but Pusha T has the best delivery in rap, amazing beat selection and how he never even comes close to sounding stale talking about the same subject for 20+ years is incredible
