He has a high school wrestling pedigree , and while that’s not much it’s more then cm punk and that’s what Joe was referring to , idk how the fuck you came to the conclusion that joe was overhyping him when he was merely stating he had a much better chance then cm punk which he absolutely does , youth , athletic ability , and prior experience are much more then cm Punk had , you sound like a hater who’s just mad because they gave him a slight one up , get over yourself

Genetics my man. Its not hard to see that The Pauls are athletic and have credentials to back it up. Its guys like those that have the best chance of excelling in an athletic field given the right training and Joe and Brendan can see that potential.

CM Punk is a perfect example of the fact that coordination is a genuine, genetic talent and he just doesn't have it. He could never be successful at a high level in a major sport. Kevin Durant is an example of the opposite, where extreme coordination can make up for less desirable traits. There are a lot of 6'10" swing forwards in the league now, but the grace Durant has allows him to be a more complete player and athlete.

That's just scientifically inaccurate. Coordination isn't a talent, it is a physiological trait comprised of sensory aspects, fine and gross motor skills. But more to the point, it can be developed, enhanced and, reduced - with age, with training, with practice. Of course some people are born with better say, hand-eye coordination. Some people have great dexterity. A local secretary may be very coordinated in terms of her typing - finger coordination - but these fine motor skills will not necessarily translate into fighting ability. Yes, coordination levels are generic, as most things are. But, coordination can be improved and developed - like most things. The military relies on this very concept. Military training focuses and hones average people from all backgrounds and of all different types, and provides them with, among other things, the coordination to fire, say, a rifle. Some will take to the task more easily. But all can learn. Anyone who has ever fought, or trained in fighting will tell you, there are people who are naturally better. Those who learn naturally quicker. But a natural with no fighting experience will be destroyed by an ostensibly unathletic, 2 year experience guy like CM Punk.

i watched him vs ksi and he has pretty sharp punches for someone who had only been training for 6 months. he also already has a wrestling background and is way younger so that means he will be learning alot faster. i think he could be a decent to maybe mid level fighter, they just gotta match him properly and give him time to get better like greg hardy.
