I won't lie his kindness is off the charts ill became a menace to society after that. I already don't believe in love now do that to me and ill become a full blown monster. I have no shame to say so either ill have nothing to lose at that point and ill be glad to run it with anyone. He is stronger than me in a way i can't be. That is holding on to his heart even through all that and he has my respect ill tossed it away. That man earned my respect but i know i can't do that one thing there is keep my heart i know my limits and that is something he got way more strength then me in. The strength to maintain a Humane heart in our society is a strength most of us don't have or most is to scared to be honest in saying. i know myself well enough to know ill wanted revenge even if i had to follow a few home. Ill felt nothing and slept good at night too doing it. For this man to maintain his kindness is a very hard thing to do in fact im impressed he didn't break he didn't crumble he pushed forward with his humanity intact and im lost for words on how he did so. '' He said he is harder than life and kinder than love'' which i feel is correct on this guy. I been through some Sh*t i won't share and i thought mine was bad nope his is more traumatic than mine. If i was rich i would gladly travel with this guy be good friends and show him kindness i don't share with most because he deserves it. Trauma from this will be forever but it doesnt mean he can't experience some light to overwhelm the darkness that is always with him. Wish this man the best and hopefully some good come out his life.

Give this man anything he desires. He was thrown in with the wolves, treated with disgust, lived an inescapable nightmare, but through all the horrors that chiseled away at this man, an unbreakable kind spirit was revealed. This is a man of purpose, with values, beliefs, and an iron will. He can't be bribed, bought, or sold. I wish him happiness and peace.

Haha are you serious? You’re that gullible? He’s had everyone fooled! actually look him up. in the full interview you can tell Joe’s bullshit meter is going off halfway through. I decided to look him up and he’s got a serious rap sheet and apparently a history of compulsive lying-the guy uses an alternate account and replies to himself on twitter calling himself a hero. He apparently begged and threatened the producer of a show for more money. Very shady guy- even if innocent of this crime. This

I can and will not claim to have been through prison or anything like that. But after watching this i feel understood. I spent 10 + years addicted to drugs and on the streets. Kidnapped, tortured, some of the same stuff he’s talking about minus prison. The way he talks about things and starts tearing up is almost exactly how i am when i talk about stuff. Through the years i learned to have enormous amounts of compassion for others. There is a turning point where you decide to either hate or love. I have chosen love. “Fuck this i ain’t crying no more”. But we will always cry more. We don’t want anyone to go through the suffering that we have been through. At least that’s how i have come to understand it. I’m now clean for a long time and am a server. I get notes from people everyday about how they appreciated my kindness and the connection i made with them while they were there. It never fails to make me cry when i read them. So different than what life used to be. Haha people probably think I’m high af because my eyes will be all red and puffy from crying 🤷🏻‍♂️ Did my best to explain. All the best to you my friend 🙏🏼❤️

I can only admire this mans strength. Despite all of the suffering he endured, and all the ways people physically broke him, they couldn't break his mind. It is absolutely amazing how after all that happened this man not only has the spirit to openly talk about it, to write books about it, but to also do it in a calm and collected manner. He doesn't proclaim hatred for the people who wronged him, he doesn't pity himself, instead he feels sorry for Joe when he sees he was touched by the story. The way a man can still believe in good and remain optimistic after all that happened to him is absolutely amazing. What an amazing story from an amazing man. Someone that has been through it all and seen it all and had stayed positive through the horrible experience that has been his life. The fact that he had kept his great character and faith in his innocence for so long without giving up is incredible. I feel for him. I was a correctional officer for a while and I saw bad things that I didn’t agree with and I believe every word that this man says and I feel his pain. I’m happy to see that he has found freedom and is now able to live the scar that is his past life and teach people how the world really is. People like him are among the strongest people on this planet. I’m happy for you Nick.

Mad respect to Joe for sitting back, letting this man tell his story and asking important questions at the right time to keep the flow. His podcasting skills have hit a new hight here. It scares me to think this man and his story are not as uncommon as they should be. Listening to the pain in this man's voice and seeing it in his eyes will hopefully inspire someone to begin to change the justice system. Not just for Nick but for every person who has had to experience similar situations.

As someone who dealt with being falsely accused and faced jail time I feel disheartened for what this man had to go through. Luckily I wasn’t convicted but it was over 2 years of court appeals, probation and becoming judged by some friends. I’m glad my family and my real friends stood by my side.

@@RandomPerson-ux2yvHis punishments are identical to Jackson Heinzberg's case. Thats probably him. Basically the victim of a rape accused him senselessly because she was blinded by the sense of justice that she so wanted, as he says he faces the punishments but the victim is made out to be a fool because the whole time she knew what the rapist looked like, she just wanted Jackson to suffer, probably a sadistic woman. He was then freed of his charges.

I moved from Europe to India in 2018. In April of 2020 I was falsely accused, arrested under false pretense, thrown in district prison and made to share a cell with a convicted murderer and a suspected murderer. All this while pregnant. Thank God I was only in the for two weeks. But those two weeks have left me with so much trauma. My husband did everything to get me out on bail. I thought against the state/police in the high court to get my criminal charges and criminal case quashed. I had to fight from March of 2020 till February of 2023 to clear my name and all while my premature new born baby was fighting for her life in the NICU. I can't even imagine what this man has gone through. I don't think I'd make it if I were in his place. May God heal him from all this and finally bring him peace 🙏

@@slimmyhendrix4067 I'm late to the discussion but yeah I agree that the United States is an opportunity power house made by the local, state and federal governments along with free enterprise. There is of course the bureaucracy part of capitalism but it is minuscule compared to the amount of wealth one can achieve in this country. The United States, along with everyone nation on earth has its form of corruption the only difference is how extreme or small such acts are. Acts of corruption here are caught on most of the time due to freedom of the press and even if acts do go on behind closed doors they're soon declassified to the public one way or another.
