Um i could be wrong but this is not what Masvidal said from what i can remember. If i am not mistaken, Masvidal said that he loved the experience he just didnt want to go at first cause he wanted to fight but when he could not get a good fight and his agent kept calling him back about this show he finaly said yes. He said that he was secluded with high level athletes from many diffrent sports and learned a lot from them and also really enjoyed the physical challenge of the show because it was a new set of skills that was required. He also talked about how being away from all forms of media helped clear his mind and give him some prespective about what he really cared about. I know he says it helped him get rid of all the bullshit in his life but I also think it gave him a desire to "go out on his terms" sort of speak, in the sense that he has only a few years left and he is gonna spend them fighting the way he wants to fight, not how judges want him to fight I.E knocking muthafuckas out and fuck scorecards. I am kinda disapointed in Joe cause he seems like a good listener but I guess in this case he heard Masvidal but he wasnt listening. Its like he talking about the Cerrone fight and that was before his hiatus. Strange stuff.

A loss is a loss. 3 rounds of watching diaz get the shit beat out of him was satisfactory enough for me.

Guys Nate starts his punishment in the later rounds regarles if it was that bad of a kick ass why not stop the fight

Peter Roque Even if what you're saying is true about nate turning it up in the later rounds, you cannot ignore the fact that his cuts were extremely large and deep and many doctors have come out to say that by continuing the fight, nate would risk permanent damage. Fact. Those cuts were placed there by not being able to avoid Jorges attacks. Facts. The fight was stopped because after round 3, nate was deemed unfit to continue fighting, and the only one to blame is not the doctor for doing his job, not Jorge for inflicting the damage which is also his job, but Nates for being the only one to no do his job which is to NOT get hit. Come on man, these are all facts. Let's not make any more excuses. A loss is a loss. A win is a win. Nothing more to it than that.

Jorge is the BMF'er, simple 😎 1 and done but it seems it's more sought after than the real belt after the UFC 244 event as it was huuuge 💵

After Usman dismantles Covington, the pretend Republican, Masvidal will get a shot at the actual belt. There isn't anyone else who can have a better claim to a shot right now.

Well father time is undefeated - but you make hay while the sun shines. Masvidal got a few quality years left in him. Could really put a stamp on the division if he keeps this up.

@Dead Man he will always be remembered. Roids only get you do far jons dirty and brutal fighting style will always be recognized and remebered tf are you talking about.. so many roid heads are still revered and remebered as the greats, yes jones will rightfully have that ped shadow on him but he will always be considered a great fighter...

Styles do make fights. No disrespect to Anthony Pettis, but does anyone really think he is actually a better Welterweight than Wonderboy? No. He is never going to be, but that tricky style confused and ultimately caught Wonderboy, even though he is always a better contender in that weight class..... Same with the women. Rousey proved twice that she is dominant over Meisha Tate, but that didn't stop Tate from using her grappling to defeat the better athlete in Holly Holm.
