I just tried dmt for the first time. I tried laying back and relaxing, but it felt like I was being ripped away as reality was folding in on itself, and I resisted, I tried getting up and was wobbly. Laid back down and it started happening again, but this time a voice was laughing uncontrollably as reality got destroyed. I had a time where I took much more DTM than I expected and I only remember feeling like I was falling into a void leaning back in my chair outside. The next thing I remember was me in my bed coming out of it. I explained it as my body fighting for control as my soul left. It wanted to get to somewhere it knew was safe to regain a footing in reality. The first few seconds are always terrifying, since it feels like you are dying. You physical self is fighting the drug trying to keep in control, and if you took enough it will never win. I have to tell myself "Let go, take me" if I want to go "there" peacefully. Tried it for the first time today and the only way i could explain it was seeing a maze with a bead in it just like the ones i had as a kid but it was sooo vibrant and colorful with an powerful glow. Also was a dark figure in the corner of the room just smiling at me, it was soo weird but comforting? Anyways the bead started moving down the maze then started spinning in circles in the middle of it. And then boom i snapped back and all i could say was holy fuck lmao. Ive been thinking about the whole experience and the maze in particular but dmt really does show you things about yourself and others. I lost my best friend to a motorcycle/bicycle accident 5 years ago and ive been doing the same shit since then..But the maze made me realize that the maze was life and i was the bead. The reason it was going around in circles in the center of the maze is bc ive been stuck for years with grief, spiraling out myself.. It was telling me that its time to move on and its right.. And that dark figure i seen in the corner just smiling at me? Makes me wonder if that was my buddy... would explain why i felt comfortable... stay woke my friends and enjoy.
