I have a feeling he was using plaster on the wraps. There has been boxers that have use that dirty tactic in the past. ONE doesn’t do any testing for PEDs so a fighter has the choice of taking them, and what we’re seeing is natural fighters getting starched by the guys on PEDs. Both Sage and Wonderboy have to learn that unless you have the speed of a Roy Jones Jr or Izzy (and even they got knocked out) keep your hands up. Perhaps the fastest guy in the MMA Demitrius Johson keeps his hands up. You might have the linear angles covered but the awkward angles that you don't anticipate which usually come in combos of three or more strikes are going to catch you at some point. I would rather take one of those shots to the body than the head. There are very few fighters better at avoiding the hit than Floyd Mayweather but even he has said, "when you fight, you are going to get hit, when you do, you better be able to take it". There is no substitute for good basics and execution. Keep your Fucking hands up. Will either Sage or Wonderboy ever be the same. NO!!! Its called a concussion medically and you never totally recover from neurological damage.

Some boxers on the past have been known to put plaster on the hand wrap. This days in boxing they send some one to check from the opponents corner to make sure there is no foul play.
