I just listened to this two years later. My mom and dad are Cubans and they defected in 1964 to Spain (I was made in Spain) but the story about this "Superman", my Dad knew him personally and the story you guys are talking about is so damn true! My Dad would laugh his ass off each time he said the story about Superman to people that haven't heard this story.

Wowwwww, I knew that the GODFATHER trilogy contained a lot of historical facts, such as the killing of Bugsy( in the movie was Mo Green), the Havana summit and the hunging of the Italian banker but I never thought that would be the case about the "Superman"..... And yes Superman was in the book when Michael goes to Havana and finds out fredo petrays him I read the book like a year ago. The godfather part 2 is the greatest movie of all time facts. And the book is a gem.

In 1959 my dad flew to Cuba with the Hawthorn NJ Cabilaros at the time they were the drum and bugle grand champs They were invited there by the business men of Cuba at the time and marched and played in a parade celebrating Castros victory My dad told me how on the way there when flying through the Bermuda Triangle their airplane hit air turbulence and dropped a couple thousand feet instantly and people and drum corps equipment being stuck on the ceiling of the plane. I wish he was still alive because I'd ask him if he ever heard of Superman

Crazy just went to Cuba and it was actually really safe and nice. This is compared to Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Brazil, Venezuela etc… guess it’s changed a lot
