I live in South America, the Amazon rainforest runs right through Guyana, I have indigenous friends who do tours and take foreigners around planned sights. My best fiend acts as a guide sometimes and he’s told me that I should always respect the rainforest, that it has the ability to swallow you up and make you a mystery just like everything in it. In Guyana it’s called the land of giants. And believe me when I say everything is big here. So when he would see jaguars and birds, even insects, they are absolutely huge. His family would say that everything in the jungle has a spirit and if you respect them, they will respect you.

I saw him talk live in Montreal less than 2 weeks after this podcast. I've been a fan of Grahams work for about 7 years (I'm 31 now). The live lecture was excellent, this is a true explorer of truth and one of the most open minded and sincere human beings I've come across. He mentioned in the talk that he would be available to every single person who wished to meet him after the lecture, even if it took until dawn (the lecture was from 7--9pm). Well Mister Hancock kept his word, I waited an hour and a half in line with my buddy to speak with him afterward, and he gave each and every person his sincere attention. It was an absolute treat and lifetime memory to speak with Graham and he signed my book and took a photo, the line was another hour and a half behind me and it was already 1030pm. I'd imagine he stayed until nearly 1230am with Santha his wife to meet everyone, and this man is 70 years old!!! It was amazing nearly 300 of the 500 or so people stayed to speak with Graham, and he's touring many cities... Thank you Graham, for your generosity, time, and relentless effort in seeking the truth and exploring the frontiers of mind and planet. You've changed my views on not just the mainstream historical narrative, but also led me on a path of truth and knowledge seeking and changed the way I see the world, for the better. kudos to you and Santha, Graham is the real fucking deal!

Listening to Graham Hancock has inspired me to try and make my own Terra Preta, even though it won't be perfect. For anyone interested, I'm using the following ingredients: - Peat-free natural soil - Biochar - 30 parts carbon waste (shredded cardboard) to 1 part nitrogen waste (banana peel, orange peel, and apple core) - Chicken, lamb, and cuttlefish bones - Cow feces - Clay granules I'm currently in the process of mixing these ingredients together. After mixing, I plan to water it and keep it moist for a year without planting anything to allow it to mature and decompose. It already has that fresh countryside smell that shop-bought enriched soils don't have. Thank you, Graham, for the inspiration!

I understood the Younger-Dryas impact to have caused an ice age, not ended it. I could be mistaken, but I'm fairly certain that the impact kicked up so much dust and water into the atmosphere that it caused an ice age. There's evidence that water levels rose hundreds of feet in places nearly overnight, eradicating most people due to most humans living near oceans for resources, then temperatures plummeted and an ice age came about due to lack of sunlight. If I'm mistaken, please explain where and how I'm wrong. I'm not arguing, just trying to make sure which of us is correct because I do not want to be one of the millions of idiots spouting erroneous info as fact or possible fact. If the impact ended the ice age, could you please explain the mechanism as you understand it, and any references you have would be truly appreciated. Thanks

@@oldblinddarby2498 - There are several Hancock (and other) vids on youtube about the Younger Dryas impact. From what I recall, the last Ice Age was effectively brought to an end by the impact, which caused the huge northern icesheets to melt and sea levels to rise by a couple of hundred metres. Of course it’s all still a little speculative as yet, but the YD impact also seems to have caused the extinction of several larger mammalian species in North America. Check out the vids.

When you don’t know much about a subject it’s hard to tell the truth from fiction. Do yourself a favor. Look up “squaring the circle” and explain to me how that is even close to the example that Hancock gives.

This is what I love. No politics. No anger. No negativity. Just exploring, knowledge, reason, and facts. All of our ancestors sure seemed to be superior. They did stuff we can’t even replicate with our modern technology and sciences. Great podcast. I bet they were rocking Vanilla Ice Cream thousands of years ago there, lol. Not implausible. If they can create soil, I bet they could find ways to cool things.

I honestly think humans have been on earth much longer and we came to a point where we had a mass extinction event may explain why we keep finding more and more things out there that point to a much different story we are being told
@RevanJJ5 жыл бұрын
LogicWorldz That’s definitely reasonable. Engineers have said it would be hard or impossible to cut so precisely, let alone lift and fit together perfectly the stones of Teotihuacan to the Pyramids. Especially how sites across the entire world seem influenced by each other as if there was a globalist(not the ideology) life as there is today. Stonehenge, The Nasca Lines, Sacsayhuaman, & the isolated Easter Island with massive moai all raise questions. Considering religions, myths, legends, and philosophists(see Plato) from all over the Earth generally agree that humans were better or more perfect previously and we are essentially on the downward spiral from the heights of human achievement is very interesting to me as well. Correlation doesn’t equal corroboration, however similar, yet it is a thought that always interests me. When I hear these amazing people with our modern technology who make skyscrapers saying they would not be able to exactly replicate many of these ancient sites, it certainly seems to back that up. I’ve practically written a book, lol. Yeah I agree. I think there’s a deeper layer of history, a much older or deeper one. This is why I always enjoy Joe’s podcasts as well as they usually bring open minded and intelligent people together. Most comment sections look like special ed Hell, however usually here & on a lot of Tim Pool’s stuff people actually converse and exchange ideas...as it should be imo.

I enjoyed this discussion. However I want to clarify that LiDAR stands for "Light Detection and Ranging". It measures elevation by timing the return of light pulses sent from a sensor and DOES NOT incorporate RADAR (Radio Detection and Ranging). They are two very separate remote sensing platforms.

Fantastic interview! One thing to add to Graham Hancocks statement regarding the mystery of terra pretas’ microbial content: it’s in fact not a mystery at all. They used mycorrhizal amendments, creating a vast network of living, growing life within the perfect biochar enhanced medium. The methods of it’s origin and production, (essentially large pools of water and biological material fermented and aerated to produce the living cultures known as mycorrhizae), are also hidden in plain sight next to all of the other emerging evidence. I’ve witnessed a class 5 contaminated gravel lot( jet and diesel fuel spill) be rehabilitated to pristine vegetable garden with mycobacterium and vermaculture. The Amazon was indeed once a man made garden.

Thanks P Fitzgibbons. I’m certainly reluctant to take any credit for the explanation, as my mentors have deftly saturated me with this knowledge and to them I’m eternally grateful. Inoculate your garden with mychorhyzae and contribute to the largest living organism on the planet!! Oh, and witness your garden explode with vitality and your vegetables rocket up their nutritional content ten fold. Peace and understanding.
