When I was 14 years old in 1968, I was camping at Zacks Bay on Long Island. We all decided to walk across the parkway threw the tunnels to the ocean side which is Jones Beach field 4. We climbed up on the life Gaurd stands to look at the stars. Almost all of us saw a star that went sideways rather quickly and then took off on a diagonal so fast it was almost a flash. Ever since that night I believe. I’ll be 70 in May and I’m still looking, now threw a telescope nearly every night. I mostly enjoy when the Moon Is full.

I’ve always been open minded about the subject in my 77 years, never seen a UFO until a few months ago. A large black triangle sat motionless in the sky for over five minutes above my village, before rapidly disappearing. Wasn’t cloud, plane, of anything other than an UFO. I took a photo. I had hoped I would see one before I died. 😁

I had a friend that worked at the Smithsonian years ago (haven't spoken to her in a very long time). She told me they have a basement with tons of artifacts that they can't show due to them being either controversial or simply denied by the higher ups. She said the skulls were one of these, along with "giant" bones. So, to hear someone at the Smithsonian claim they are all fakes makes me immediately believe they are actually real. Besides, who would I believe, the tribes that are practically older than dirt, or a woman at the Smithsonian claiming they don't exist. Definitely the tribes.

This is in my opinion one of the biggest problems that we have. I can't help but notice that literally 99% of all these academics, scientists, archeologists, historians etc are all dogmatic, close minded people who assume for some reason that they know everything and have it all figured out. Yes it's important to be a skeptic but it's also even more important to not let your personal beliefs and theories get in the way of analyzing stuff. I don't know or what created this stigma associated with anything extraterrestrial. These people are so fucking arrogant that they think they're the only life forms in an infinite universe and that the chance that we were visited by ETs is zero. I used to actually trust them when I was like 16 or 17. Now at 24 I realize they're full of shit and are driven by an agenda and aren't allowed to say what they want because they're afraid of ridicule and lack of funding.

This is all true. I am an agate hunter. Most every agate have experienced lithic reduction by humans for ART. Literally birds mostly, profiles and mother child. Artifact community won't see it. Took me years of studying to see it, so I understand. I see what they carved. Same ones ALL OVER THE WORLD. Mostly birds flying with a few different general positions. They are almost allllllll one sided. Other side is left rough. Where I live, there are different layers in the rocks of minerals, which represent different colors. Like painting a picture.

Dan Aykroyd is one of the few celebrities that truly dares to be open minded in a world where most famous people just trying to fit the mainstream narrative. Refreshing af.
@breakerofrocks5 жыл бұрын
I don't know how daring celebrities have to be to portray themselves as open-minded. They're already free from the social constraints most people live under since their clothing, hobbies and daily lives are all outside the 40-hour plus work week most of us deal with. And quite frankly, when this same guy is promoting a personal product of his using imagery, language and concepts generally associated with this perceived open-mindedness, I have to question whether or not he's any different than any other celebrity hawking water loaded with vitamins, eggs made of jade for your vagina or a 'university' offering courses in real estate taught by people with no licensing or credentials to their names. I'm not joking, take a look at the commercial kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXzUm3ysbpaNrpo. He's pitching a vodka that comes in a glass bottle shaped like a skull and recounts in some detail the story of the crystal skulls, creating in the listener's mind a connection between a narrative that surely has some meaning and weight for many of his listeners with this product he's trying to sell to them for money. That the product is high quality and popular doesn't really hold any water, after all, Beats headphones are probably pretty good and lots of people seem to like them but no one ballyhoos Jay-Z's open-mindedness for making a product that works and sells well. They just call him a businessman and make no fringe-tinted fuss about it. Now I could make a joke about how a guy who's so open-minded selling a high ABV vodka, something meant to dull the senses, fits so well with the demographic who'd even buy into the story referenced by the bottle's shape to begin with are primed to purchase that kind of product, obviously not having much use of their higher faculties anyway, but that would be too easy.

Tbh both deniers and apologists in this case are arrogant. Both can't prove shit and both act like the other side is dumb somehow. The only way to not be arrogant is this debate is by saying "I don't know", because that's what everyone knows: nothing. Dan don't know if the skulls are real, but he talks like they are: that's arrogant. The science lady talks like they're fake, but supposedly made no papers to prove it: that's arrogant.

We had a guy who worked with us a few years ago that said he had been abducted as well. I talked with him a few times and really never brought it up as I was not sure how or if I really wanted to hear his story without sounding like I did not believe him or making fun of him . I gave him a ride home one day and he started explaining a bit of it like he knew I wanted to know even though I did not ask. It was very compelling to say the least as working with him I kind of knew he was not some nut case and very intelligent. He said that they always know where he is at all times. He also said there were two types of them being browns and greys and that the greys kept the browns from really messing with us. I took it as kind of a good and evil type of thing and he agreed that was exactly how it works but not really on a level that we could understand. The one thing with him also is you could give him any kind of math problem and he would solve it in his head quicker than we could with a calculator and now matter how complex he was always right. I myself have never seen anything to convince me without a doubt they exist but there is a lot of things we don't understand and to think we are the only beings in this vast universe is pretty arrogant on our part. I mean look how far we have come in the last hundred years and now things are accelerating even faster and where will we be in say 50 years.

Without the arrogance of someone like Neil who is an absolute no on anything that deviates from the norm. We will never grow or learn if we think we know everything there ever was or is to know. I am late watching this video lol 🤷♀️. Interesting story about you friend thanks for sharing.

So, it was ghosts and aliens that inspired Dan to write the ghostbusters screenplay. Dan created that whole world and believed in what he was writing about. That is why it comes off so believable. My family had a ghost story tradition, but my sister killed it because it was too scary for some kids. I could write a whole book about a character my father used to tell us about for Halloween. I bet someone got Dan going pretty good as a kid. He had a real storyteller in his family.
