It hits harder if you've seen more of the reporting she's done. I watched one of her videos last night. (Note that the following stories are from the West Bank, not Gaza. The video is called "Empire Files: Inside the Hotbeds of Israeli Settler Terror.") Some Israeli settlers set fire to a Palestinian family's home. When the parents and their seven-year-old son escaped, engulfed in flames, the settlers poured kerosene on them. A one-year-old baby never escaped the fire. Only the seven-year-old survived. He's being raised by his grandfather, who tells Abby Martin that the boy is always asking about his parents, saying he wants to be with them. She talks to another Palestinian who had been shot by an Israeli soldier when he was out trying to find an open shop to buy food from. The bullet remains lodged near his heart. A few months later, when his pregnant wife went up to the roof to check for water in the water tanks, she was shot in the head by a settler and killed. The unborn child survived. That child is now mostly blind because some sort of incendiary material was thrown on him by settlers when he was walking down a street one day. You get the impression from what's shown here and from her other videos that a lot of the Israelis are basically just openly fascist. They speak about Palestinians the way Nazis in the 1930s talked about Jews, the way American white supremacists in the 1910s talked about Black people. There's a portion that literally wants to commit genocide. The rhetoric from the Israeli government and military in the last 3 weeks is confirmation of that. Definitely check out her documentary _Gaza Fights for Freedom._

The root of everything that is happening in Palestine now is that radical groups professing the ideology of Zionism aggressed upon a land in which Christians, Muslims, Jews, and Samaritans were living in peace. Currently, the occupiers are persecuting the people of Palestine and hampering their capacity to have a livelihood. Over 80% of the people of East Jerusalem live in a state of poverty and destitution that has been imposed on them. They are denied the basic rights of freedom to worship and living a dignified life. Their homes and farms are usurped from them. Their general rights are denied to them. Those Palestinians who hold the occupier’s nationality are treated with discrimination. Women and children are killed and houses are razed to the ground. Extremist rabbis justify the killing of Palestinian women and children yet there is no criminalisation of their terrorist rhetoric. Palestinian refugees are denied the possibility of ever returning. Concerning your point on Palestinians being hateful. I think we may all agree that in life there are certain priorities and concerns that come before all others. These priorities are the areas of our lives that are meaningful and important to us. For these people it their freedom FIRST. Which I genuinely believe they will enviably take.

Of course it is, what is scacry is the fact that this algorithm causes hate and division between people, the algorithm study your likes and dislikes and constantly shapes to your liking and places that type of content in front of your screen regardless of it being fiction or non-fiction. Most Americans are total potatoes and don't bother researching deeper into stuff and end up having a stupid uneducated conclusion that they got based on the content that your phones gives you the option to watch, and i believe it influences you. An example I can think of is a person being called out on these false claims and the brain goes into defense mode to protect what you believe to be real, (especially for people over the age of 25) factual or true. An argument ensues, you clash back with your warriors thumbs and that leads to hate, division and in today's world probably protest. You have two side that wanna constantly be in the right, and this algorithm keeps feeding them more and more. I lived in Israel for 45 years and I don't personally know anyone over the age of 10 who thinks the solution is to kill all Arabs or deport them to another country. there's no apartheid inside the Israeli borders, as the 20% of arabs/non Jewish citizens could tell you. regarding the rights of the refugees in the west bank - compared to Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, for example, they have a great life. the life expectancy of a Palestinian in the west bank is better than that of any Arab in Israel's neighboring countries. the so called colonial settlers, some of them had families living in the west bank before 1948, and should have the same rights to the land as the local Arabs. and if the Gazans want a better lives they should do a better job governing themselves, as in the last 17 years the let a terrorist group lead them.
