He is right about one thing. Democracy is about giving everyone a voice. That's it. It is not morally superior to any other form of government if all the voices who are voting, vote for a morally corrupt government. Everyone thinks that we, as humans, are morally good and capable of making good judgement. Yes, we can but only if the environment is conducive for such decisions to be made. But when, for example, your livelihood is affected, you are going to vote for anyone who is going to protect it despite the means they are going to use to make that happen. Yelling democracy and freedom doesn't make anyone better. Not a Trump supporter, but what he has done that actually made him so despicable. Yes, he uses strong conservative, right leaning rhetoric. But to be fair, he started no war. He did not pass bills that allow illegal immigrants to rampage freely. You might hate his politics but as a 3rd party observer from overseas who lived in the US, I do not see him being any worse than any other President since Clinton.

The people who buy the tickets are fully aware of what they are buying. At most you can say 5-10% of the audience are walk ins. The rest absolutely knew what his comedy is like. He has MULTIPLE stand up specials. Seven to be exact. You don't get to seven specials by "tricking" people. You don't get to be the biggest podcast in the world by being snake oil salesman. Does his humor not reach you? Sure. Can you claim that he is a bad comedian? No. Joe is clearly successful in the realm of comedy and your hatred doesn't make him any less so.
