In my opinion, Satriani's unparalleled mastery of the guitar sets him apart as an extraordinary musician. His innovative approach to technique, coupled with a deep emotional connection to his instrument, creates an awe-inspiring musical experience. While Gary Moore's skill is amazing and very commendable, Satriani's unique blend of technical prowess and soulful expression cements his status as one of the greatest guitar players of our time. This particular piece isn't necessarily the best example of Satriani's songwriting, but still a great performance.

Listen to and watch Satch's 2006 concert after this and you'll unfortunately get the impression that he is surviving on the reputation of his past music. He's become sloppy; that's measured against the incredible standard that he has set since the 80s😢
