That's the price that technologies bring. Yeah, they help in many ways but the "feel" is missing from the place. Its the human element that makes music...and they should have turned the lights down except on him... @DIASDEMUSICA10 жыл бұрын
Tom Fortin it´s easy... he´s just a guitar god... but his music don´t transmit nothing "more" than how good and technical he is. He could name this song summer in venus, or walking in the moon insteado summer song, and you won´t see any difference. Music is a question of transmit moods, identify your sensations with the music, to tell something.. and people even freaky guitar fans are never identified with his songs... could you go walking through the street whistling this song as a a feeling of summer???? You are simply impressed by his mastering of guitar, so that´s why people just simply watch.. but music is much more than that... there has to be a story to tell, and Satriani as other guitar herores have only one story to tell, that is, they are "gods" technically, nothing more. Just fireworks. Unless he is a real source of inspiration and learning for other musicians more "limited".

@Shadow07Warrior198910 жыл бұрын
You really don't know very much to anything about mixing do you? Lol! But hey, it's cute to see you try and talk about it as if you know what you're saying. Joe's guitar is supposed to be right up front. He's playing to backing tracks. What's more important to the listener? Joe's guitar playing at a Workshop/Performance, or the backing tracks? Also, the sound of his guitar being too "harsh" comes from the environment of the room he's in as well as how the mixing engineer decided to EQ it (which was likely Joe himself when this was getting prepared before his performance section). There's really nothing wrong with this performance or the levels dude. But again, it's cute to see you try and talk about it as if you know what's happening.
