Thank you for posting this Jim! I saw him in Boston two nights later. It was such a phenomenal show! We ran a few min's late. The small theatre was positively *vibrating* with this song as we were getting checked & grabbing refreshments before sitting. This is the closest I can get to what it would've been like. His music is pure Magick. I've been a fan since Surfing. ♥🔥🎸🎶

Yessss!!! Exactly all of him! Sahara is such a quintessential Satriani song and has so many elements that showcase his approaches to songwriting, performance and dynamics. One of his best IMO and exactly why I shared this 👍👽👍

@@kellyparsons4072 So, my birthday was on the 5th of October and I got two VIP tickets to that show on the 6th. He was a really, cool dude. He was just as down to earth and fun to talk with as I have always wanted to believe he was. It was an amazing event. As a fan for more than 30 years, it was the best birthday present EVER!!!

@@negative2974 Wow dude, you're so lucky! I've been a fan for over 30 years as well! Satch has basically written the soundtrack to my life. So many songs remind me of so many special events over the years. He's just so amazing and an incredibly cool guy. I'm happy to hear your time with him was everything you hoped for.
