Absolutely glorious, brother. You manage to get so much emotion out of this and the tone is beautiful. I know most people would be waiting for that famous double bend at 2:20 (you nail it), but to me, there's a small bit in the beginning that always gives me the chills -- 0:33 those three palm-muted notes followed by the pinch harmonic slide get me every time. For anyone making a cover it's absolutely essential that this lick is played exactly like the original.

Yes. my fav of his.. I've seen him at least 6-7 times since 1990 and never seen him perform this song. Wonder why he doesn't play this song live anymore.. I've seen a old video of him doin this when he had hair.. lol

Like almost 20 years ago i learned almost all the Surfing with the alíen and the Flying in a Blue Dream, but this song at that i never nailed it... Awsome , great cover, not only on the technicalities ( who cares) bur the expresiveness of each Note, you might never reaf this comment, but definively the best Satriani cover i hace heard... You should do your own stuff, i supose it's also great...which you best... Cingratulations
