Joe is too full of himself. For a long time he didn't let Mika join the discussions he would have with the men.She would just sit there for most of the show and announce the next segment before they went to commercials.Lately she has been allowed to comment from time to time. I never could understand why she allowed herself to be treated that way. What a shock it was to hear that they are in a relationship.

Thus they always rely on society, or some other group dynamic, outside of themselves. Which is never going to be efficient and effective, leaving those women ultimately dependent. It’s sad. I’m not raising my kid or any future kids like that, boy or girl. Independency is what’s needed. Translation: improve your skills and/or obtain a better job or start your own business, then if you still wanna _raise_ in your current position, at least you’ll have material, actionable, leverage before -asking,- -begging for,- -requesting,- renegotiating your current compensation, and making your employer fully aware of your real market value. It’s not a personal dynamic, it’s a material and actionable one. A lot of women and some men, don’t really get that. It’s really an education, tactics and experience problem not a grand, oppressive, patriarchal one.
