We just heard this on Detroit's WDET. I'm so lucky to have met Joe and all the Clash after waiting for 2 hours after their show downtown in 1982. Gone too too soon, Joe Strummer would have been age 70 tomorrow. Can't wait to get the set!!

This is a real gem. Knowing what this song ultimately became and then listening to this, you can hear Joe experimenting with the vocals, trying things out, testing. You can hear where he was still tweaking it and where he had already figured it out.

saw him on corner of street in portobello market once with a baby buggy . rocking it back and forth .. i gave him a thumbs up and mimed moving a buggy.. he gave a thumbs up back. was lovely we connected in a very tiny moment .

Nice one it's cool putting some humanity to Saint Joe about 15 years ago i got to have a long talk with Charlie Harper UK SUB'S here in Auckland Aotearoa new zealand he told me first hand story's about Joe and signed a poster for my then Les than a year old son Strummer Clash

£130 for 7 L.P.s doesn't sound too exorbitant (what's that, about £18's per record). Plus with all the packaging and booklet, etc.🤷‍♂️ .
