You can so clearly see how much effort Joe has out into learning this dance and it paid off in the night. Yes it wasn't completely perfect but to do that well in a dance that you found so so difficult, is truly remarkable and so inspiring. Also huge love to Dianne for helping Joe to progress in this dance and learn the choreography!! She's truly the best teacher and I really really hope that they make it through to Blackpool 🤞🏼💃🏻🕺💜

I think it is adorable how he was mouthing out the beat while dancing cuz the rhythm proved to be a major problem for him (his instastories were just him mouthing the beats till he fell asleep). Not one of my favourite dances from TeamJoanne but it's nice to see the effort put into producing an enjoyable samba. MAJOR LOVE xxx

Good bounce action, who knew?! Compared to an established pro dancer Danny’s Samba attempt, bizarrely Joe has nailed the Samba techniques (while Danny failed by and large). Main reason is that Joe has learnt the body isolation and thus his shimmy-ing is so ‘shimmy-ish’! LOL I like the part where he visibly vocalised ‘ta-ta-ta’ while doing the steps. Whatever makes him produce the techniques, go for it I say!!! Some criticism, he’s skippy in place, that’s because he’s not ‘grounded’ enough with his feet. But as a beginner attempt at this very difficult dance, I think he nailed it! 8!

Finally someone I agree with..why are people hating on him and this dance so much?? The fact that he grasped the essence of a samba (novice) whilst Danny with dance background didn't do anything for me with his samba?? I don't understand what people are watching..

I'm so glad to see you comment this! I always look for your opinions because you're always on point! I'm gobsmacked people think it was awful! Footwork was spot on, hip action was much better than a lot of male celebs doing the samba and great bounce action. The only issue is the song but that's not their fault, and they did well with what they had!

@@LizEllynMoore Who says it's awful? It's definitely a beginner's attempt at Samba, but he managed to produce those figures, albeit a little 'rough' around the edges, but he got the complex rhythms of the routine right.

@@scdobserver835 loads of people on Twitter. I've had to defend him quite a few times with the reasons you've mentioned. The Samba is one of the hardest dances alongside the rumba and quite a few past winners didn't even do a samba. So the fact he managed to do it like that with so little experience is highly commendable I think!

After watching Joe McFadden from last year. I’m hopeful of joes chances. Joe( last year) also wasn’t a dancer and looked awkward in some but gave it everything and it paid off. Joe Sugg is what strictly is about. Learning and delivering a new skill. This year with Faye and Ashley I feel the audience will sway more towards joe or Stacey as they are the novices. Everyone loves an underdog. But we’ll see!

Joe has so many sides to him, he keeps surprising me every week. so far he's showed that he's energetic, that he can have control, that he's an amazing actor, that he can be light on his feet as well as strong and firm, that he can be as cute and lively as he can be smoldering. AND on top of all that, he really gives it his all every time, he keeps getting better and better and you can genuinely see how much fun he's having and that he's enjoying himself so much. him and Dianne are truly the most powerful duo when it comes to the chemistry between them and the dynamic they have. they just make everything work and look INCREDIBLE and they're always SO enjoyable and fun to watch 😊 i truly hope we get to see them dance as long as possible in this competition. #JOANNE FOR THE WIN!!! 😃 ❤️❤️❤️
