I agree, I get what Joe is saying on relationship thing, I think what he is saying on girlfriend thing is she has to have a full commitment to the relationship even though it may be a weird job he has to do. I can totally get that. If I was in the relationship I would have full support and just go with it. Heck if he is doing a job he loves I'm happy with that. Happiness, support, trust, communication is key to having a good relationship. You may argue about something but at least you talk it out than fuming the fire more and destroy more than making a stronger connection in the relationship.

I feel like the reason that we watch people like you and keep watching you more than we keep watching people who quickly peak is that we have literally watched both of you grow up. A lot of us have been watching you for years. We've seen you becoming roommates, then moving out. We've seen you change and grow as people whereas with people who quickly gain subscribers and are quite new we don't really know who they are. We just watch a person like them and then get over it. It's very clear to us who you both are but its just not the same with some people.

Caspar; what you and your friends are doing at the moment is perfect, inspiring and entertaining. Please don't feel the need to follow the KZbin algorithm or begin a 'group' just to follow the way it is trending. What you're doing is working and like Joe explained they could just drop off in such a short period of time whereas you have all built a life with us and we enjoyed following the growth. (Mad respect for Joe after this) - good one boys ❤️

@masha73777 жыл бұрын
It's not that easy though. As we can see on the statistics, views have dropped in the last few months. Not dramatically, but the monthly average of 2017 is defo below 2016. This is due to this algorithm. KZbin is their job, it's the foundation of their income (if they stopped YT now, also their production company, merch etc would suffer immensely). They NEED views. The algorithm is a given, they have to adapt to it.
@freezasdeeza7 жыл бұрын
Rhiiannon Louise this is a really nice and inspiring message but sometimes it's evolve or be extinct, so if he doesn't adapt his content then he'll kinda fade out so sometimes you have to evolve content and adapt to the way KZbin changes

First of all, kudos to Joe for being straightforward and honest (this is the most open I've ever seen him), and for Caspar for handling the interview well. Joe was never uncomfortable and their interactions were good back-and-forth. It's an interview with a good mix of humor, bluntness, and good vibes.
@mareenaoneil98687 жыл бұрын
Well said, I definitely agree
@anja7357 жыл бұрын
Pearl asdf I see where you're coming from with that, but after seeing their Edinburgh interview (if you haven't watched it yet it's called The Great KZbin Takeoff) I think they could actually do something like this. Then again, who knows?
@delperez25657 жыл бұрын
Sorry. This was written prior to the Edinburgh interview. But I loved that interview so much because it was so revealing on how Dan and Phil's approach to being professional KZbinrs are. I love how serious they were (without losing their humorous touch) . But of course, they still had reservations on how much to reveal. I think it also helped that it was a non-YT setting and a significant portion of the audience were non-fans. I think it's telling that they didn't retweet the interview nor actively promote it. I have a feeling they still tend to inject less seriousness and more fun-related content on their main channels (particularly Phil). I can see them being that serious and "candid" on a non-YT-focused medium, but I doubt they'd do that on their main channels or through a popular YTer like Caspar. As much as I would want them to do that, I really think there's a small chance of that. But who knows? There's a trend of them becoming more open and shedding parts of their branding recently. We might be surprised in the future. :)
@anja7357 жыл бұрын
Pearl asdf Now that you say all that it does make a lot of sense. We can hope though, right?
