I wish he was on the 2020 Cleveland browns. He deserved that playoff win more than anyone else.

Thank you Joe for all of the hard years in Cleveland. I’m sorry you never got to play in the playoffs and you deserved more than that. You deserved a Super Bowl! You were the definition of and iron man on and off the field! You’re a legend in Cleveland and will be forever loved!!!

Cowboys fan here, but you recognize greatness when you see it!! Being a fellow offensive lineman when I played, Joe Thomas was one of my hero's growing up. The way he played the game was truly incredible. No doubt in my mind the greatest offensive lineman of all time.

The only man to go one on one with a prime JJ Watt and win. JJ was quiet that day. And he had 20 sacks that year. You deserve it Joe

Considering that Thomas was consistently good despite playing for a team that is average at best or outright awful at worst, I doubt anyone would question his credentials. Plus, anyone who says how much better Thomas would have been if he was on a team like the Steelers or Patriots, the man willingly chose to stay loyal to the Browns. That quality is something I can respect, giving up individual success for the team, even if the team itself constantly disappointed him over and over again. He could have left, but he chose not to. If someone is happy where he is, the least you can do is respect his decision, even if you do not like it. Congrats to Joe Thomas on his enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Obviously a super tough guy but I don't see how 10 years worth of snaps can possibly a record when the Vikings Mick Tinglehoff started and played every snap of his 240 game career not to mention every snap of his college and high school careers. In fact, allegedly never missed even a single practice session of his entire football life. Not to mention Jim Marshall's 270 consecutive starts that was apparently stiffed and shoved under the rug by the HOF voting again this year.

Jim Marshall- 20 years with only 4 years double digit sacks(14 being his highest wheras his teammate, Carl Eller had 15 that same year)- on average 6.5 sacks a year. Never lead the league in sacks. Only 2 pro bowls, Never made 1st team all pro-NFL. 282 consecutive games played is a great number; but he didnt play every defensive snap in all those games, it doesnt compare to Joe Thomas's 10,363 consecutive snaps.

Haha the definition of Mediocre or failure, getting praised like it's amazing. This dude went 3-20 against the Steelers. Every year his team was horrible, but they won a single playoff game! That's his achievement in over a decade, winning a single playoff game and going 3-20 against the division rival that's the toughest

Oh look, an ignorant man who knows nothing about the history of football. Browns franchise has the 3rd most championships won. Most players in the Hall of fame - 9th. If youre gonna use the word franchise; you cant just use the past 10-20 years. A franchise starts from the beginning. Please educate yourself

Lmfao what highlights??? Never had a winning season minus Derek anderson Joe Thomas rookie year. Lost all games one season. He never played in meaningful games ever. If he was so great why didn’t the browns win more??? It’s unreal the love for a guy who just showed up. Wasn’t a leader and never made his browns teams better. Ever.
