As a Dine', half Chiricahua Apache, I am proud of my yazh (son) Joe's singing abilities, he's carrying on his grand Uncle's strong vibrate distinct voice. My yazh, doesn't even come close to being a medicine man, he is in the entertainment business, as such, its basically up to him to make up his own songs as he wishes to provide for his family. You don't want him to sing sacred songs, keep those sacred. These social songs is for entertainment, it can be any type of songs, western, Dine', rap, Mozart etc. All song writers make their own songs, there is no wrong way, it may be silly songs, making fun of you or other... social songs are social songs.. to be shared with others... thank you yazh for bringing laughter and joy to others with your songs.
