Carter U12 and '74 MSA custom 12 string set up as U12, both 7+5, most of my playing is e9, but I love being able to instantly go b6 without changing necks! And low bass notes are there even while playing e9 stuff, highly recommend U12 to new players!

it relates perfectly with e9th, I just look at it as one fully extended tuning.
