The first interview/video of Andreas Bovensiepen is one of the best if not the best interview of the car industry I have ever seen. More than an interview, it is a friendly discussion kept very professional. There is so much to learn by listening to Alpina’s CEO. The fact that he gave 90 minutes of his time says a lot about the remarkable relationship Joe is able to create, although you can feel he was somehow intimidated. It is very very good! This video is no different. Great, great, great. Thank you Joe for giving us the opportunity to be part of it.

@@Ganijespree 😁, yeah currently drive E92 335i N55, but this will be even better of course! Plus without the BMW own N55 issues I expect! Not yet sure, how and where it will happen. I expect a good search and most likely early next year get one from Germany to NL.

Why didn't you post this earlier!? Honestly the interview with Andreas Bovensiepen was probably the only KZbin video over an hour long that I ever watched, and multiple times at that. What an absolute legend! I've tried to find other interviews with Bovensiepen (even in German) but not one of them is as thorough as this one! I hope I'll manage to afford one of those cars one day fingers crossed

This guy absolutely nailed it with his comments about having a linear throttle response; driver-induced oscillation on a bumpy road due to an over-sensitive throttle isn’t “sporty”! Now I want an Alpina.

What a brilliant CEO to have spent so much time with you and engage with you. Such clear enthusiasm by both of you for not just cars but Alpina. A very very special couple of videos. I so hope something similar can happen again. Brilliant Joe, thank you. Stay incredibly safe and well. Here's to the next Alpina videos when you get to Germany.

Thanks for digging out this video. Andreas was a good sport! Re the car, I have to say I love the Alpina bits especially the dials in this 7 series, but really dislike the BMW design especially the exterior. I wish Alpina did a completely new exterior, like a coach builder, beyond just the minor styling. Even as a limited run, just to show what they could do. If BMW design continues to move in the current direction, Alpina may be in high demand just to make BMWs look acceptable!

Hi Joe, what a great video fella and this guy warmed to you very quickly. I think he knew that your a BMW / Alpina guy I can’t understand why that would be can you 😂😂. I have said this before you should work for BMW as your knowledge of the brand and all the cars they sell is incredulous in my sole opinion and you will talk to anyone about cars in general. I’m fully aware your having a tough time with your business and if I had the money I would love to help you out as you wouldn’t have to ask it would be offered with pleasure. Well Joe stay safe my friend and keep up the great work. Best wishes Alan B
