Stupid prices, mad how we just go with the flow, an M3 should be circa £60k, it’s a series 3 !! People bang on about how Minis aren’t Minis any more and how £40k is crazy for a Mini, at least they’re much better value than any BMW badged BMW…..

It’s not worth the money. It’s a great car, but £40k is nuts. I guess it’s a stage 1 so actually will dyno at 600hp otherwise the weight saving is a joke, fit an akrapovic and you save 17kg. The front hubs are the big deal and don’t cost that much, the interior is nice ish. I hate the splitter. It will hold its value five years down the road maybe My guess is it’s £100k I’d have British racing green and satin ppf It’s just mapping and you can get that for nothing really The wheels are very light lighter the weights are out there Hang one you don’t get cabs for the 40k, is that a joke?. It’s so nit worth it Also bmw are shafting owners my car has lost £17k in 6 months, I live m cars but the m3 touring is my last

The only cs worth buying is the f80 m5 cs, the only one that in my opinion is a true cs. These cars are like an expensive competition version with extra performance parts

bit like comparing the e46 cs and csl, not a huge difference except the price. I think a more useful metric would be how far you could launch the car whilst going over a hump back bridge. you could measure the difference in jump distance at lets say 150mph. I think that would be a more useful 'real world' unit of measurement than this PS nonsense. we all know that you can jump a hire car the furthest. Seriously what was wrong with horsepower?? now we have horse strength...worlds gone mad.

There are so many M3 Tourings for sale because it‘s a shit car, the front is horrible, the only BMW that are even uglier are the M2, XM, Xi, X3, 2 Series, 7 series,..

M3 Touring CS makes no sense, wagon is supposed to be a family car, CS is for track and the ride is too hard. The two go as well as steak and sugar. If you want a CS, just get a M4 CS.

Are you cancelling your M5 Touring? I've got an M3T on order with Tony but I think the CS is a bit too hardcore as a daily so I'll stick with my "normal" M3T.

Hope you're well, Joe! You shouldn't regret getting M5, it's gonna be an amazing daily! You made a beautiful spec 👌🏻 Would say M5 is a completely different beast and better value for money. Luxurious, with EV range, is definitely more usable car as a Touring. You had quite a few G80/81's, so I think is great to change things up a little bit. Even though cool idea for a CS wagon, like you said M3 is now so heavy anyway. And yes, M3 Touring is a dream car of mine too, but make a RWD and manual would be something else.. I hope you could soon get into some kind of Porsche. Every time you review one, it's clear your passion for those cars! That would be perfect duo next to the G99. Cheers!

You can get the CS coding loaded to any regular Competition. This gives you the CS Calibrated steering, gearbox, diff etc etc settings Essentially you get a CS feeling car And this isn’t remapping of having your ECU unlocked etc, it’s just simple coding that lots of companies are now offering across the UK

If your going to keep them yes, however price is getting close to your 911 dream. The F80 cs vid made me get my f80 comp! As you know with some cs and gts mods 😊

Superb video, Joe! Having had an F80 Comp, F83 Comp, an F80 CS and driven a G80 Comp for a week, I can't wrap my head around why anyone would go for a G80 (saloon) over F80. It drives so much better, you're much more in tune with the road - the G80 has far too much electronic assistance. The analogue feel of the F80s was the best part about them.

M3 all the way. Altough I think the regular competition is good enough you could always jump up a stair and get that juicy CS.

This over the M5 every day of the week. The M5 is too big for U.K. roads, and I think you’ll really regret getting it. The BRG M3 was a duff colour and you’ve made almost no content on it…don’t make 2 mistakes.

Joe I know you have discussed the current car market with Petrol Red on a podcast but could you do a market review of the current M3? Values, discounts, and residuals etc. plus your overall view of getting into a used or new one and what to expect price wise over say a 3 year deal. No financial advice of course😀

M3 touring CS will just be well overpriced. Right now you can buy a used M3 touring for £75K, 1 year old and 5k miles. That car is £105k new. Why would anyone buy a CS new for around £135k new with very little extra in performance? BMW marketing and journalists are helping them is the answer.

I would have never expected an estate in cs form. Truly a wonderful day.
