I have been off work for three months now due to illness. Your videos have really helped me get through some tough days. I was sad to see the old stove go after watching you make so many fires in it. You get to live the dream. I look on Amazon at tents and camping equipment, but I know I can never get to camp. So I watch your videos. Thank you for making these videos. I have some pork steaks to cook.

I used to watch mindless TV with all the glorious commercials. Watched tons of sports (Goodbye Kaepernick). Haven't turned my TV on in over 10 weeks. Had someone told me 2 yrs ago that I would soon spend 54:00 minutes of my viewing time watching a stranger go fishing, eating endless potatoes every meal, burn more firewood and use more alum foil than thought possible...I would have laughed so hard when told my future viewing habits. Imagine..I even request notifications to anxiously await for next road trip to the tent :)

What a cool pontoon boat/fishing platform! When I was a kid 13-17 yrs old my best friend's dad (an electrician w/local utility co) dragged four old phone poles out into the water, lashed them together and covered them w/canvas. He thought he had made himself a fishing platform.....HA! It was the swim-to-play-all-day platform for us kids!

Hi Joe i have burned wood all my life try putting what they call a stove pipe cap on the outside of your stove pipe and it will stop all the snow and rain from coming back down in your stove. I also take my stove out every summer and apply a coat of stove black to the outside it really helps to protect your stove and prevents rust. I hope these tips help you. My family and i love watching your little movies keep them coming, take care, ttyl.

I have done a lot of projects with the aromatic cedar, many are interior. I will have to put a CWF or Thompsons water seal type product on the boards if I want them to stay that color; I am planning another project for up there and I may use the cedar on the front, if I do I might then seal the table to pull in that color to match the new project. Time will tell. Thank you.
