I was so excited to see another video. Joe, your videos have saved me. In 2015, I was diagnosed with PTSD and suffered tremendous flashbacks and spent almost the entire year going in and coming out of the hospital for suicide attempts. I found your videos and they saved me. I would sit and watch all your videos. My kids knew when I was watching your channel, I was ok and it was healing my mind. They love you for what you did for me. I cannot thank you enough. PTSD is horrible as are the flashbacks and memories. You brought me calm and something worthy of my mind focusing on. I tell all my brothers in arms about your channel. I hope you have many more years of memories and a good life. Thank you.

Thank you for your service! I'm sorry you went through hell and glad to hear that you are getting better! My dad was a veteran too and he didn't talk much about what he went through in the war until I was thinking about volunteering to go to Nam! Then he sat me down and said let me tell you what war is really like! I decided not to enlist and most of my cousins that did came back rough shape!

I recently started viewing the videos for past 2 months and originally being from northern Ontario, Canada, they bring back memories of my time in the forests and lakes in my younger days. I am now in my early 60s living in British Columbia. Picking wild blueberries and wild raspberries which we canned for winter use as a way of life. Raspberry juice for a cold was just awesome. Seeing the lake in its stillness like glass in the video also brought back old memories. I liked how far Joe could cast out. Nice. Seeing the black bear reminded me when I had a black bear come to the back door of my house and it was not unusual at times for moose to come into town in the early fall. I appreciate the footage or walking in the forest as it also brings back memories of many times I was walking in the forest. Seeing the grouse on the road reminded me of how dumb those birds can be. Thanks so much for the videos.
@JoeandZachSurvival7 жыл бұрын
I truly LOVE reading comments like this one. It would be fun to sit by the fire with you and exchange stories. With that new fishing line I put on my reel I too was quite impressed with how far I could cast. Those Grouse always seem dumb until about a week after hunting season opens, they get smart real fast. Haha. Thank you and please comment more often. Joe

This is crazy, how many videos you have out and I’m just stumbling across your channel today I’ll be forever catching up well I guess my chores for the day will have to wait, hmm takeout for supper tonight! Chinese food is now on the menu, your videos I really enjoy! I had a major Stroke 2 years ago, at the age of 56, and before that happened I was active in the out doors, I snowshoed, hunted, hiked in the woods! So thank you for taking me back in to nature, I can walk but partial paralysis on the left side drag my left leg a dead left arm,I also follow another site the north woodsman, Martin is his name He takes me into the woods as well, so thank you Joe for your site and taking me for drives down country roads and tromping through the woods, great job keep the videos coming regardless of weather you think it’s repetitive or not this is my daily therapy it enlightens my day thank you again Joe hopefully I catch your next live stream, I’ll be looking for it?

Joe, we just got a fast shot of the grand bright red pump you installed. The entire camp is just precious. I'm so greatful that you tuck us over your shoulder wherever you go. Its wonderful. You have one of those easy speaking voices like the western sounding guy that did so many of the Walt Disney wilderness, wolves, many other subjects where you never saw a person just the Grand Canyon or that ever he was telling us about.anyway, others have mentioned to you that your form of narrative is beautiful. Thank you. Mrsjob

I love camping, and as an American-born Filipina-Portuguese woman (yet lived in the Philippines between 5 'til I was 8) I practically lived in a house made of Bamboo, and Banana Leaves 1 big hut....and it just brings back memories on the edge of roughing it, yet still modern to a degree. What a great experience and feeling. And the food you cook.... yumm! I love bbq'ing, and simply I love to cook myself! Thanks for keeping me entertained. I have watched Matt Posa, Joel Robinet and they are great too in what they do. You, on the other-hand is really creative in building things, and I have watched you when you first put this Tent together! Really Nice and I love it. KEEP IT UP
