This is the first time I see a Passat with this engine. In Turkey, vehicles generally have a 1.9 PD TDI 131 HP engine and a 5-speed Jatco Torque Converter transmission.

Version with 2.0 TDI was for last year of production of B5 FL . Very rare. Better than later model with 140 PS, but of course worse than 1.9

Imao sam priliku da skoro vozim Passat B5.5, 1.9 tdi 96kw, ali je odrađen chip tuning. Auto prosto leti autoputem.

Passat B5 got tiptronic 5hp too, even with FWD ! no multitronic. Unfortunaly A4 B6 (Litteraly passat b5.5 but audi logo) with more quality but exaclty same engine lol like awx and avf, bau etc) & A6 C5 don't have tiptronic for FWD version only multitronic for fwd and tiptronic for quattro only... 🥲 And 1.9 TDI with quattro on b6 only have manual gearbox no tiptronic :( I think passat b5 can be 1.9 TDI 4motion AND tiptronic for example or manual. but passat got tiptronic on fwd 1.9 tdi (4 and 5 speed) vw and their weird idea. And for the lever yes PRND432 or PRNDS with typic tiptronic chrome depend year model Multitronic have PRND or PRNDS depend of year model

Got your message, but you’re wrong about tiptronic on FWD! I’ve got A6 C5 pre-facelift with 2.8 ALG and it’s on tiptronic 5hp19. I think that’s just optional. After all, VAG is a constructor, you can order a universal modification of anything you want.

@ Oh okay, so C5 have some 5hp19 in FWD. I was only thinking C5 got tiptronic with quattro thanks for information Only have A4 B6 et B7 and I know B6 automatic FWD = Multitronic only.. B6 quattro : Manual or tiptronic... et 1.9 tdi quattro can be only manual on B6... its for that I'm surprise the Passat B5.5, the A4 b6 but vw version, having Tiptronic on fwd ( way reliable than multitronic ) and not the A4. Maybe for WV group multitronic was an amazing technologies (lol) so A4 can have it. Deutsche in 2000' really wanted to make CVT., but the result is : today only rest Dual clutch and torque converter but thanks for information about the c5.
