I wouldn't have minded Nicki mentioning lattos song if she hadn't said the other thing that people aren't mentioning enough, which was when she added that these awards academys are giving UNDESERVING artists opportunities to win. That was definitely a dig. And if I'm Latto I'm definitely sensing shade. Because I agree with Nicki as far as feeling like the Grammy academy is trying to sabotage her. I wholeheartedly agree! But I think as soon as she name dropped artists esp other female rappers knowing people already feel like you've been hating on the new girlies lately , why mention A name at ALL? then to go further and mention meg aka "big foot" suddenly? It’s crazy because they keep saying she didn’t have to name lotto but not talking about the other people she named, if that’s the case then she shouldn’t have named anybody, because all the people see names were relevant regardless of if she’s friends with them or not to the point she was trying to make, anybody can speak on a public figure as long as they are not making lies about them, she’s not making about lotto so why does she need not mention a song that’s relevant to the current situation? there was a very specific point she was trying to make, how would you not know what she was talking about or how she meant it, if she didn’t give y’all the best possible example she could give in the current situation of the 2022 or 2023 whatever it was Grammys, lotto specifically is the only current example she could have used in her industry in her field of work, the second verse of super freaky girl is RAPPED PERIOD. soul is the Romans remix version, and soul is the queens mix version. which should let everyone know she intended for that song to be a rap song. Why would she not mention big energy by name when the person who made that song has said numerous times as far back as last year that that song is a pop song, so if they were on good terms it would’ve been a perfect example, but since they are not Nicki Minaj didn’t have said anything because they weren’t friends? I didn't see know harm in mentioning the song due to fairness, people are taken it as she was being malicious toward Latto when y'all know damn well that wasn't the case, what she did do was a positive on so many levels when speaking up which in my opinion no one would have sadly, what stood out the most is that Nicki know her worth and will not be taken advantage of, so to me Nicki said out loud f**k the Grammy even if it was a chance of her winning, but i get that you got watch what you say, what you have done is stayed on topic and not make it about who got the win
