😂 Once again Joe contradicts himself. A year or two ago while addressing Chance and his new album, "what the fuck is this positive bullshit?! Shoot a gun or something in your verse." The beginning of previous episodes of the podcast, "shout out to all the gang members and real niggas." Von reaped exactly what he sowed and so did Chance, their trees just happen not to be the same. This notion that the yardstick for 'blackness' is being destructive, is also disturbing. When one is killing his own kind he's labelled, 'REAL.' Yet we laugh at brothers who are productive members of society, they're labelled as 'corny.'

If you want to prevent what happened to King Von from happening to other people you have to change the conditions that created King Von. You have to fix the environment that King Von rapped about. Right but that’s going to take one hell of an effort. It’s going to be hard to erase the things that happened that bred the King Vons, the Moe3’s, The Nipsey Hussles, The Mac Miller’s, The Lil Peeps, etc. you’d have to erase the deaths of previous gang members the drug use being cool the culture of the hood in general. You could keep a lot about hood politics but then you’re kind of playing 1 foot in 1 foot out. And not to mention the guys that LOVE the street as far as they love the gang they love the lifestyle and there’s nothing me you the judge their family members or anybody could tell them. But you’re right. The environment needs to be calibrated.

@Joey Drix respect and that is true! But when I was 26 I looked back at 18 and realized I didn't know shit! My generation and the ones after me have a real hard time maturing. Mainly because of the conditions we're raised in and due to the fact that most of us come from broken homes and have to figure out a lot on our own. But if you look back on at the generation before us like the baby boomers, they were faced with the same conditions (sometimes even worse) but mentally they were way more mature. No one will say it but Durk and the rest of that gang have no reason to retaliate towards Quando. Quando and his people were innocent in the situation. There two angles to see the entire altercation. Quando was in the window TALKIN to his mans like a normal day. Then von walked up with a gang of people. Quando stood up and approached with 0 people behind him. Von just started swinging on Quando along with his security guard. So already it’s 2v1 ,, then all of Vons crowd approaches wildly. Then Quandos homie gets out and fired accurate shots at the threat. Then the police kill the other two. Durk and that gang shouldn’t be mad at Quando or his homie for doing what they felt necessary to survive. This isn’t high school. This isn’t jail This is a 2020 with riots nd a pandemic This isn’t play time or fight time Everyone is fighting for survival So I need one of my ogs or bigger voice spokesmen to explain that . We need more progressive ways to deal with issues We need more calculated moves Every one is only speaking on von but that incident caused 2 other people to die as well. Soo Leaders if y’all know a war is coming . Talk that war down. Explain that it shouldn’t get to a war because rondo and his team were chilling until von showed up You cant get up set at them for finishing what he started. Von underestimated who he was approaching THINKINg that he would come out on top because he’s probably done more and seen more in these streets but what he neglected to realize was guns aren’t exclusive to tough guys or bold guys ,,, anyone can have a gun on them ,,, NOO matter how tough you are or how REALL you are or how many bodies you have ,, unless your flesh is bulletproof,, still approach everyone as if they are carriers. The words that need to be said to all my people are to wisen up ,, learn from this situation. Don’t retaliate but learn. Learn that if you have love and money enough to take care of your family and bring people out of poverty then you have noo reason to risk that unless someone is trying to stop your love or money ,, And by the looks of it Quando wasnt able to stop his progression. There should be noo war ,, Chicago learn from This situation. YU wanna know what’s cooler than being known as a tough guy ,, being known as the one who made it out and is now taking care of his. It’s kooler to be alive than it is to be a tough guy.

After the age of about 26 I had to stop listening to a lot of the violent/gang/drug type of shit. It's toxic and only spreads negative energy. Change needs to come from within. J.Cole is one of the only artists speaking out about it and we need more people at the top leading the conversation.

I fell the same way about his death, and His manager wasnt being truthful about what happened when they met up with Von...He said no one knew what was going on (I beileve that),another one of vons guys said Quondo was sleeping in a car,and then Von just took off no one could stop him...The 2nd video clearly shows them all walking slowly together, then he said he had security, where were they? ...Von should have never been left so open like that it looked as if he had 20 guys with him and not 1 of them, could have done something differently?...Then ppl are saying Von was wrong,Quondo didnt know Von was coming,or out there Bullshit!!!!..There is another youtuber, hes one of those Durk sacrificed Von commentators...But the Video that i seen and im pretty sure the world,is the one where quondo is standing next to the white truck...But this other youtuber Shows a little more of the video,Quondo was is in another vehicle upfront and walked back to the Suv Tim was in, Then u see von appear walking towards the SUV that Quondo had just walked to...So Quondo had to know von and his team were out there, went to were tim was put him on game, and mostly likely told him to get the gun.. he sees von starts walking towards him and then the fight begins...I didnt see anyone jumping Quondo ,but vons crew left him to exposed they left him out in the open fighting and the rest took off in the opposite directions...It sucks that things went the way they did,and honestly I feel it could have been stopped...Everyone is saying its Vons fault he walked into that,he got what he deserved he was a killer...and quoting the bible, but what if it was your child that was an alleged killer and he was killed,And you had to see ppl who didnt know your son judge and critize him,for things that he may or may not have done its crazy how ppl are so quick to judge we are not God ..At the end of the day if he lived his past by picking up a gun to solve problems,he tried to do it the old fashioned way This time and he still lost his life and it was pointless ..Rip👑 Von 🙏🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
