Hasselblad X1DII 50C on a Disney Vacation

I got the X1DII and the 45P used and have no regrets. I have the new 75 P on the way. Love the image quality and the simplicity of the menu system. I love this design for my shooting. I also shoot the Leica Q2M and for simple family photos I have the D-Lux 8. But you can’t really get better color scheme.

Thanks for your video! like your vibe. Curious on your thought between X1Dii and SL2? I am debating between those 2 cameras. Already has a Leica M240, and also Q2....

Thank you for the kind words and comments. The SL2 is amazing. I have the SL2s but have used the SL2 also extensively. Completely different in terms of AF. File from digital medium formats still produce somewhat of a different edit in the end.

I'm using the Leica SL eco system. I wonder if this Hassy delivers better image quality? Tones and colours, not just megapixels

I have trouble getting proper focus of my kids while shooting at home with this set up 😅. Shooting at Disney must be a challenge. This camera has the best grip, it’s almost like the camera is holding on to you.

Yeah I’m not getting anything that has a lot of movement. Slow and deliberate is the name of the game.

My local camera store had a used X2D w/ 45p lens for $6K. Unfortunately, it sold in less than a day and I didn't have time to snag it. I'm so bummed. I'm headed to Disney after xmas and would prob bring it with me too if I had it. 🤣
