I just tried a used X1D II in a shop and was amazed how fast it was. I thought it would be really slow, but I guess those reviewers never shot with a Canon DSLR combined with the 85mm F1.2

beautiful photos! I had an x1dii and do miss it. I now have an a7cr and I definitely miss the out of camera files the hassseblad provided. To me I love the fact that hasseblad has a standard picture profile and that is it. It's like this is what you get, like shooting film. and you really hardly have to edit the files. I usually did exposure and contrast. Im super tempted to buy another. I also had a gfx 50sii and returned it within a week. Definitely does not have the same color the hasseblad has. Thanks

You sure you want to come back to glacial autofocus versus your A7CR? :P But I must agree with you on color. I really like Hasselblad's interpretation.

@@elliotnahm hahah true. The autofocus is amazing on the Sony. I think my plan is to have both eventually!

@ reallly? I didn’t find it that much better than the a7cr imo. I mean yeah it’s amazing but I think I would regret getting rid of my a7cr. It is too good for an all around camera.

@@jharrelphoto Because the a7cr is "overspec" for my need. I always wanted to shoot something more serious with the a7cr so that I can use all of its functions. With the x1dii, I feel more relaxed with its low specs and tanky build. Actually I sold the a7cr to get the x1dii and a used a9. All the cameras come and go but I will keep the x1dii for my son in the future. Lol The other important thing that keeps me happy with the x1dii is it natural color. I realize that I never shot JPEG with the a7cr and spent a lot of time for tweaking the RAW on LR. Anyway the a7cr is a wonderful camera.

The colors are amazing. Ok, it’s KZbin but anyway… Perhaps a good friend of my Leica 😂

Thank you for sharing your video; it's excellent. I have a question regarding the accuracy of the autofocus (AF) in the X1D II. I've seen some videos where users mentioned that despite the AF appearing to lock onto the subject, the photos still appear blurry when viewed on the monitor. Have you experienced this issue with the XCD 35-75 or 90 lens?

To first answer about autofocus, it's "meh" on the X1Dii. It does miss focus quite a bit. The 35-75mm has a relatively quick AF motor so it's easy to refocus and try again. Whereas slow focus lenses like the 45P just have you completely lose the moment. I just got my 35-75 back today from service. It took six months this time. Anyway, I'm not certain if they're facing the same problem as I did but I'll describe my situation. The images with the 35-75 did come out blurry at the longer focal lengths. At 35mm, it looked fine but when I zoomed into 75mm things got blurry. When I got the X2D, the 100 megapickles showed that the images were getting this double exposure effect that 50 megapixels couldn't resolve. So, Hasselblad swapped out the shutter mechanism so I hope that does the trick. I don't know, I literally got this lens back about 5 hours ago, so I haven't been able to test it again yet. My 90mm has been good to me.

I'm glad that you liked the samples. I just hope you didn't have to loop back to listen to my mumbling. I need to do some speech training... "Y'know?" Golly, I caught myself saying that filler word repeatedly at work two weeks ago.
