Another Spectacular Disaster | Transport Fever 2 | East Yorkshire | Episode 25

Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
We're going to be back in East Yorkshire today where we're continuing on our mission to tweak our network into perfection! The whole point of today will be seeing how we can shift more passengers between the towns of Goole and Broomfleet, there's quite a lot of congestion and a lot of ways to go about it.
Before we introduce new trains some of our junctions could do with being improved, as there's already a lot of trains coming into Hull, and more trains would not help this at all.

You could have made the Wrestle coal go through the bypass, you just clicked in the wrong place and tried to insert it at the wrong place, so it couldn't find a route

You could have a separate line for the shuttle with an underground station at broomfleet city centre which could fit 6-car trains

The fereby station replacingloop project would put trough servivces on the old alignment with stopping trains using the new loop lines joe literally just rebuilding fereby as a doubletrack halt with a new set of plattforms at north fereby

You should have done a underground/metro service instead of the shuttle becasue you could have a different station or it pop up at Broomfleet Station. It would avoid the congestion as well.

Joe you should add a different station at hull for terminating trains because hull is getting too busy for trains to termanate

14:50 the terminating platforn at broomfleet has a speed limit of 186 mph for some reason

Yeah I think actually just deleting the whole thing and forgetting it might be better

For the passenger trains you should make it so that their signals are further from the junction than the freight train i.e where the freight line joins the mainline put a signal there for the freight to wait but put the passenger signal further up past the junction. Because trains try to get to their next signal if that makes sense so the closer the lower the priority at least thats what i have discovered when playing because my high speed trains kept getting held for passenger trains and this helped

could always quad track, have the 91s bombing down the middle with freight and the slower trains on the slow lines either side of the high speed line
