Hello everybody and welcome back to City Bus Manager!
What an absolute gamechanger the recent update has provided! We've all of a sudden got access to bigger maps, external depots, automation when it comes to keeping the fleet clean and tidy. There's so many things which have just taken this game to a whole new level!
So with that, let's plunge ourself into a nightmare of not enough bus driver, not enough buses and cancelled tours! As I frantically scrabble about trying to keep the service running sit back and enjoy the carnage!

Joe! Don't forget that you can change the currency to GPB instead of Euros! Just go in to the settings and then go to "game" and you will find it there. Fantastic content as always Joe! ❤❤

Much better with the improvements especially the allocated parking spaces and that external depot could be useful around chester maybe

Not sure if you already knew about this but I found it in the update logs 'Maximum shift duration can now be increased to up to 16 hours in the shift planner settings, which can prevent buses from returning to the depot at midday'

The core hours don't need to be changed for the drivers. Anything outside the core hours as a shift is run, but if you keep drivers on shift, they still sit around between runs.

My local bus route had an extra bus added to the timetable to help with generally increased demand and to help with despersion during covid. The one extra trip that got added came with a whole new shift that (after a bit of replanning to make said trip a permanent trip and not just a covid addition) during wednesdays was the only trip of its shift. The driver had to take the bus out of depot to startpoint of the trip around 7.05am to start at 7.18am and by 8.20am if I may have a guess, their shift was done and they had the day off (Other weekdays had another 2 trips in the evening planned being out of depot from about 15.45h untill 18.15-20h ish) And so on wednesdays the driver with shift 9 was a lucky person because they got paid for 4h. I did not expect to find that in the game mechanics. 8:39 is what i'm refering to

It might be worth building more workshop space and hiring more mechanics, then pickles like this can be avoided!

Instead of doing the scheduling on the day try do it once a in game week. Then atleast you know whats missing and whats needed
