right outside oakenbane there a ton of gravehide creepers that I farmed for a couple of hours, dropped me a ton of blue gear and level up decently fast spent most my time from 10-13 there as a solo fighter

Shell is a reactive defensive ability, not having it on an easy to reach hotkey is insane haha

Kind of, as ranged dps you should see threats coming and be able to activate it before getting hit if that's not the case something is going wrong. I've used it often to cover for a tank if it needs rezing in combat

@@JoeHammerGaming I hear ya, if that works for you then that's cool. I just broke my habit of clicking skills a long time ago. Clicking skills can be fine but the reactive ones should be hotkey'd in my opinion. Those are the ones you can sometimes have less than a second to press for it to save your life, a friends life, or win the battle.

I'm all ears for better spots that don't require getting carried or being pre-geared. I see a lot of people going to high-level areas too early and getting into XP debt because they aren't gearing properly while levelling

@@JoeHammerGaming with a 8man party there are spots with extremely high gear drops and xp even on same level mobs. You might not know them then

@@nimbeeTV You don't understand current gear drop rates if you think doing it 8man gets you more drops. A party of 8 only gets 2X the drops of an individual player so for gearing up early you are much better off in smaller groups. The ideal group size is still up for debate as a 4 member squad gets 1.5 the drops but with right make up might be able clear fast enough to make up for it. I know quite a few good spots for lvl 20 but that isn't the goal of this vid as we are reaching the 20 lvl gearing for 20 is done after that

@@JoeHammerGaming farming in group is far more efficient. on a 6-10 mob groups non stop we dropped so much that people didnt even need the gear anymore.
