He is the most protected player in the league - 2022 he steps on Scottie Barnes' leg. - 2023 he kicks Nick Claxton in the nuts -2024 grabs Robinson by the heel, steps on Josh Hart's leg and elbows Brunson in the face. He received zero ejections for these.

In 2022 alone, Embiid injured a handful of Raptors players like Thad Young, Gary Trent Jr, Khem Birch, & Scottie Barnes (the worst) in a single game. Embiid has a reputation who plays dirty especially if he thinks his team is losing. Scottie gets cracked on the face by Embiid's swinging arms & he didn't stop from hurting Barnes until the latter went down. Imagine Embiid, a 280 lbs guy stepped on Scottie's ankle. Barnes wasn't able to return to finish the series. Now Embiid did it to Hart & Brunson. That guy should be fined. Why was he awarded MVP anyways? He's a freaking dirty player! No cap.

It was absolutely intentional. You can clearly see that, as he backs up, he steps on the leg lightly with his right foot and then proceeds to stomp on in with more force for no other reason than to hurt the player. His other foot is already firmly planted, so it's not like he was in a risk of falling or anything. The fake MVP about to lose the series, so he's venting his frustration.

I doubt Embiid would even want to risk twisting his knee stepping on him.

He injured his knee extending it trying to kick a loose ball. You overestimate Embiid's intelligence

Nah, he wants to tweak something so he and the media can make another "Embiid's wasn't healthy" excuse.

The first one looks to be unintentional but the elbow was fishy

Back in the 90s that second one wasn’t a foul according to the old heads😂😂

Nah back in the 90s that would've either caused 1) a retaliatory hit on the next possession or 2) a fight

First one seems deliberate to me. It's just completely unnatural movement. He stepped on his leg and shifted body weight to be able to raise the foot quickly, but then, instead of moving his right foot closer to the left one, he leaves it extended and steps on him again.

And I notice how paid analysts like Stephen Smith, Kendricks and others don't criticize Embiid but constantly praise him. A couple of days ago Stephen A Smith says Embiid plays on one leg and stuff like that. There is not a single criticism amazing.

The irony for me is Joel is an extremely dirty player but gets more phantom calls than just about anyone else in the league. Maybe he's scaring the refs, too.🙂

Joel is a dufus dirty player and about to be home for the summer, so glad he’s not on the Knicks his body is breaking down and won’t last that much longer that’s why he plays dirty because he can’t take to pressure

I’d be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in regards to stepping on Hart, but that elbow looked 100% intentional. Should’ve been a flagrant.
