@montecristo3697 Жыл бұрын
@@dondobbs7722 I didn't hear or know Coach Prime said they quit. The volume from sports media was so loud, yelling that Prime kicked the kids out. One coach, Pat Narduzzi, spoke about how coaches "used to care" about the kids; Brent Venables complained. So, now we find out, that was just the dishonest narrative they sold about Deion Sanders. Now, I learn, it was a lie.

Man I wish I could've played for a coach like Prime in my days of College football. He understands what we as young black athletes face in our daily lives. He teaches them the things most other coaches can't and conveys it in such a way that you know he's being genuinely truthful about everything. He allows his players to be themselves but, also holds them accountable for their mistakes. He's fair. As a player, how could you not want to play for a man like that. He instills the confidence needed to be great. They know he did it himself, so why not learn how from him? He's right, they don't like it because he's teaching those young men to be real leaders in life. Not just on the field but in life moving forward. Shows where alot of their thoughts or perception of us really is at.
@JordanRiversTactics Жыл бұрын
You're right about that! The pig headed mindset of alot of people who really don't understand how they handicap alot of potential great players from the hood who either grew up fatherless for whatever reason. So glad that, late in the interview, they talked about the LSU - FSU game. For years Brian Kelly has made excuses all the time, and wanted the football world to "feel sorry" for him that Notre Dame was supposedly "holding him back/undermining" his supposed "brilliant" coaching self and institutionally thwarting his ability to succeed to the pinnacle level of winning a national championship: (1) because ND's academic standards for student athletes to be accepted were supposedly "too high" for him to "get the [best] players he wanted;" (2) because the university's academic requirements on ND players once in school were supposedly "too demanding and tough" for them to give "full attention to football" when they had to worry about actually attending class, doing and keeping up with all their class assignments just like all other students, and performing well enough on exams and term papers to maintain the university's "mandatory minimum G.P.A." (which is higher than what the NCAA actually requires) in order to "maintain eligibility" to participate in athletics according to university standards; (3) because ND's administration, alumni, boosters, etc. DON'T "buy off" the "best" players to come to play at ND the way SOME so-called "top programs" do; and (4) because ND was supposedly "too cheap" to coddle his football players with the same level of lavish, expensive "palaces" and other goodies other "top program" schools furnish for their players (e.g., player lounges and game rooms, training facilities, locker rooms, student dorms, etc.) Well now BK has no more excuses. He has all the players, coaches, and $$$ support he could possibly ever want. He has a stable of speedy players and "SEC level talent" all over the place. He's well settled into his LSU program. Heck, it's NOT even as if he was outcoached by the likes of Nick Saban. Yes, it's a long season, yes LSU "could" finish the regular season 11-1, and yes "anything is possible" still for the post-season ... but losing a game like this to FSU is NOT consistent with playing and coaching like a National Championship contender. One thing's for certain: the bubble on Kelly's self-proclaimed "ND held my success back" mirage has certainly been burst !!!!!!!!!!!!
