How'd Paul Chryst do at Pitt? *crickets* I'll undoubtedly agree with the sentiment about Dantonio. He's by far the most underrated head coach and this is coming from a Michigan fan. Honestly, the most well prepared team my Wolverines play against every year isn't Urban's Buckeyes, or Penn State or Wisconsin, it's always Sparty. They're smart, tough, have an identity, get the most out their athletes physically and they have put more quarterbacks in the NFL than Bama has. Yet for some reason the top players keep going to Alabama, LSU, Ohio State etc and I don't get it. Those blue blood programs are that way bc of the massive fanbases and influx of talent.

Gary Patterson. 2nd longest tenure coach in College football, 18 years. Has never had a 5 star recruit and he’s only had 2 losing seasons and in those 18 he’s had 3 losing seasons and four seasons where he’s lost 1 game or was undefeated. More 1 lose or undefeated seasons than losing seasons and no one talks about his greatness.
