Speaking a word to the daughter..In today's world adults really can't underestimate the obstacles or struggles our young people encounter. I have a son and a daughter, so I understand. I want you to know that God loves you. He sees you right where you are. He loves you and my prayer is that God would perfect ALL things that concern you. God will fight your battles and He wants you to enjoy being a child. Trust Him and saturate yourself in His presence. If you are able to, play some worship music as you sleep. I woke up this morning feeling very weary. Depressed. Overwhelmed. Normally Joel’s word picks me right up. Today is different. My life has changed a lot over the past 8 months. My elderly mom has moved in with me. A 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. There is a huge financial drain on me. An emotional drain. We don’t have the best relationship. I am partly to blame. I have so many emotions and no one to talk to and actually hear and listen. I feel sad. Trapped. Financially insecure. When I hear” you won’t be blessed until you change your mindset”, I feel even worse. Like blessings are so far out of reach. Please pray for my mind and spirit to grow stronger. I need my joy back.
