I had the good fortune of seeing Joel and these other wonderful musicians plus a couple other amazing players at the Vanguard a week ago. It’s really hard to describe what I experienced. The music these folks are creating is truly on another level. It’s hard to categorize, but why bother. Please do yourself a favor and seek them out if they come anywhere close to your town. They are creating something very special. They are in a category by themselves.
