serious tip to be more effective in tarkov pick up people's rigs/backpacks, and stuff them full of 1/2 slotters instead of taking entire weapons just strip the good bits off and stuff em in your backpack can fit a lot more that way

Yeah, the flea market/FIR status change has been pretty game-changing for me, too. Now I just use my container for meds or things that I intend to craft or sell to the traders anyway. So I've made it to 14 (and halfway to 15) by doing the following: 1. Do every stupid quest that anyone asks. They're worth like 4k exp each. That's almost a whole level :D 2. Rat harder. I quit picking fights unless I'm looking at their unprotected back and I can 1-tap them. I stay on the back of the map unless I need scav kills, then I only engage at 75-100 meters range. Any closer and you'll get shotgun-sniped (12-7mm buckshot head/eyes? That's stupid. Nobody is that good. Ever) 3. Only finish quests by hiding in a box until the last 5 minutes of a raid, then sneak in and out. Know your routes, your backup routes, and your timings. Pretend you can only walk when you plan your times. 4. Invest everything in your hideout. This means taking the SKS with Prapor ammo into every raid. The only big expense I allowed myself is level 4 armor from Fence. For a while I even quit taking meds into a raid. If I'm coughing and wheezing and limping, and I didn't get cheese from that scav, then I guess it's just going to suck. It won't make for exciting videos unless you drag your friends into your death march, but now that I'm past level 10, it's soooooo much easier! I won't unsubscribe! I'll follow your trudge to greatness! Now if we only had Tarkov VR...

Regarding of whatt game engine they use: 1. They are already using the Unity Engine. 2. Switching engines at this state of the game would be a terrible idea, because you would need to restart from scratch rebuilding thousands of hours again. 3. The engine is not the issue. The Unity engine is actually a very good and solid engine which only has a bad reputation because it's mostly used for browser games and low performance games. If used properly a game like Escape from Tarkov can work perfectly fine. That isn't the case simply because the devs have very low priority at optimization as they still add and remove things constantly.

also, focus on your weapon statistics, and shot placement. no i dont mean 'aim better' as a blanket statement, but if you have trash ammo like tracer or fmj, aim for legs for fat dps, and the best 4 bang for buck rounds rn are M80 and .366 AP. ive gotten half my shooter born in heaven using .366AP and a shitty ak-vepr with the even shittier vpo-215 scope. also, 'mapgenie.io' can seriously step up your rat game, like, its an interactive map site. hope to see more tarkov soon man.

You do realize they're already running on Unity, right? All they're talking about is updating to a newer version of Unity. Unless they concentrate way, way more on optimizing game won't run significantly better and since they're STILL adding features optimization will have to wait. Sorry m8

Yeah I messed up my words on that one, The game runs in offline so smoothly everything is so crispy but as soon as it goes online it shits itself. I get it’s still in beta but those are just my thoughts on the game
