Yes. Could be the next Big10 rival game. But I have to ask you Joel Klatt. Do you feel like the coaching changed in the 2nd half? Only 12 rushes for 19 yards. That feels like the last two seasons with Day at the helm. Not Kelly's rush it down your throat that we've seen the last few weeks. You hinted at wanting to talk about why Henderson didn't get more carries and I wondered that too, the whole 2nd half of the game where the run was just abandoned.

I appreciate Joel for giving the Oregon players their flowers but saying JJ Smith didn’t commit that foul is just not true. You can see him clearly extend and push off. It’s a very obvious foul in a big time moment by an inexperienced player. There were many opportunities for Ohio state to pull away from Oregon and they didn’t. @@ollyboy3833 I would agree with you if Jeremiah Smith didn’t blatantly commit the PI in front of an official. It was so blatant of course it was gonna get called. You fully extend your arms like that and take the DB out of the play, are they supposed to just not call a blatant penalty??? Also, the refs were bad to both sides. The refs gifted you a free touchdown drive which should have been an interception on the first quarter, but we still managed to win. Keep making excuses loser!
@Bretzille4 күн бұрын
@@princeofgreece9054 you're looking at this from a biased perspective there was pi on both sides all game unfortunately. It was the timing of the call that needs to be looked at and the timeout officiating was horrible. Oregon also has never won a national title that I can remember & when they went they faced OSU in a embarrassing loss. OSU also has the head to head, better win % over the past decade, more national titles, Heisman winners etc. Calling them losers is kinda shooting yourself in the foot when you look at stats, accolades, and awards.

From what I’ve seen, real experts agree OPI shouldn’t have been called, while the internet “experts” are the only ones saying it was a good call
@chamellemackenzie86824 күн бұрын
Joel Klatt is also an Internet expert, friend. If he was a "real expert" he'd be a ref. I'll remind you that Joel also said that Justin Herbert wasn't worth a first round pick, so take his opinions for what they're worth, which is clicks. That was OPI and anyone who says it wasn't is intellectually dishonest.

Wow, i disagree. That Offensive Pass Interference was pretty blatant 😮 If the offense is allowed to do that, you'd run that play all the way down the field 😂

Dillon Gabriel would be a good backup for Brock Purdy. And no, I'm not throwing shade. I just think those two QBs play similar, so if one gets hurt, it's just more of the same.

OSU had no pressure at all, All they had to do was rattle Gabriel a little bit and get a stop or two and game was done….offense for OSU was productive enough to win that game by 1-2 scores if not more But hey congrats to the ducks, they will definitely play OSU again

What film are you watching, Joel? Smith shoved Reed with both hands and knocked him back six feet. I don't care if they've been letting them play, you cannot, as a ref, let a team get into chip shot range with a WR shoving a DB to create separation.
@dang33434 күн бұрын
Buckeyes got the ball with about 1:38 left in the game. With that offense, with those 2 wr’s, with Chip Kelly how & in what universe doesn’t Ohio State win the game? It’s simple - Ohio State got out coached & the coaching staff choked.
@gian-lucbrasseur2073 күн бұрын
15:45. This guy is dead wrong. When the WR leans in and used BOTH hands to push off on his cut, that is offensive pass interference at ALL levels of football. He is just coping. And if people want to whine about that, let's whine about the int that the refs didn't review that was potentially a 14 point swing in Ohio States favor.

@RyanFairclough3 күн бұрын
Man Joel, typically you are right on point but you're off base on this one. That OPI on smith was clear extension of his arms, which resulted in that huge separation he got for the catch. The officiating went both ways in this one but you didn't mention the obvious interception they let Ohio St off on early that would have been a big momentum swing. You sit and make every excuse under the sun about why OSU should and could have won this game and all you do is diminish what the game was, both teams played very well and were equally matched, Oregon just happen to come out on top. Whether the old hats of the Big 10 like it or not Oregon is here and truly belongs. This isn't the days of Masoli and Thomas, Oregon is a real problem for every team in the country now.

OSU played sloppy and you can’t have that many possession losing plays and false starts and expect to win a top 5 matchup on the road. They only lost by 1, which makes me really want to see them match up on a neutral field.
