Thats pretty neat. I have my own really cool way of shooting off bottle rockets. I built a replica of a M1 Bazooka out of pipes and wood and i made a sort of "cartridge" to stuff one of them into. When inserted correctly, the fuse aligns with a piezoelectric igniter i scavenged from a lighter, wired to a trigger system in the grip. Then i aim it up into the air and pull the trigger and wooosh!

Most small bottle rockets use black powder, some have a flash powder report at the end that makes the bight flash and bang.
